These tights are definitely opaque,solid black. The control wasn't just at the top. I had to work to get the large on and I'm relatively small. Once on they weren't too bad they came up high, probably better for someone with a longer torso. Price was competitive and delivery fast.

I bought a size LARGER than recommended. Epic Fail! I bought them to wear under my long dress mostly for a substitute for socks with my boots. The high waste would have been a slimming Plus.Instead, I spent the day of my grandson's wedding constantly unrolling the waste. When I couldn't pull the waste up, the tights threatened to go over my butt and slide down my legs. I was totally miserablePoorest sizing and quality ever!I threw it in the trash. Wasn't worth my time for a refund.

Good for tummy control. I used this on Christmas and the quality was real good and it made my tummy under control which I didn’t expect. After 4yrs of having a baby,my tummy is still like 7months pregnant .

The tights were great quality, definitely have tummy control, I think. The problem was that I ordered a large, based on the chart for weight/height. They were for a Halloween costume and I waited until today, 10/28, to make sure they fit. Well, it was a bit like trying to stuff a Polish sausage into a hot dog casing. Finally got them to the top of my thighs after burning 50 calories doing so, but I gave up at that point and carefully pulled them off. Quality-wise, they are great, but beware of the sizing. I'm around 164 and definitely needed the XL.

Love these and fit was perfect

I ordered a large 140lb to 195lb 5'5" to 6'. I am 5"5" and weight 175 lbs. It was way too small.
