Great texture
Dissolves easily with great end result. I've been looking for an odorless coagulant for a while to make the perfect Almond tofu, and this gelatin absolutely delivered. The tofu was nice and soft, with very even mouthfeel.Note: I've learned online that gelatin generally yields softer texture than agar agar or konjac powder and the higher bloom values also gives a less "muddy" end result if you are looking to make a clear jelly. Looks like it's also important for it to be made from pig collagen.

Fun gelatin sheets
These were admittedly fun to use. They reminded me of a bland gelatinous version of the yummy rice paper wrapper on White Rabbit candy. If there's a way to decrease the salinity in the solution, it might make it taste less like pork connective tissue. Perhaps using a mixture of seaweed agar instead of porcine connective tissue might work. The ratio of sheets to fluid was also a little off. I needed to use more sheets than the measurements indicated on the label. These would be fun to have as a kids, or adult multivitamin if someone's finnicky about swallowing pills.

Perfect for Panna Cotta
This is the second time I order this gelatin sheets. I use them to make “panna cotta”which is an easy but delicious dessert!I tried to use agar agar powder and it didn’t work as well since it made the dessert a little “grainy”.This product is flavorless (as it should) and provides firmness without compromising creaminess in my dessert.My only complaint is that I used 1 sheet per 1/2 cup of liquid as directed in the package and my panna cotta was definitely way too firm. I followed the same recipe using less sheets and it came out perfectly.

East to use
Just follow the directions on the resealable package and it makes gelatin simple and easy.I used these sheets to make fruit gels. Made with gelatin and fresh juice, these sheets made the candy smooth and chewy. Did not leave a grainy texture as some granular gelatins do.
