Not bad
In the process of repainting my deck and sanding was a must. Went with 60 grid to remove the leftover paint and level out some rough spots. It worked well but I did notice them tearing a bit easier than expected and having to change them often. I believe it's not the grit itself but the quality of the paper. Regardless, I had plenty to swap and got the job done

Not great but still a good value
The good: 1)Great value (price/unit) compared to other alternatives. Large quantity (with a bad side, see below) 2) All the same 60 grit instead of having to buy mixed. 3) Good coarse grit thick enough that it did not "erode" quickly sending tough spots. Does a really good job of you manage to keep it on the palm sander. Which leads to the bad: As another reviewer mentioned, the paper is brittle and breaks easily, especially when securing the clamps on the palm sander. The paper inevitably tears and must be replaced after very little use, which is a waste. (From the good, at least you have a lot of them you can waste :(. To minimize tearing, I have to prefold the ends so the clamp doesn't "crunch it". The paper has to be taught against the sander pad. Otherwise the ends will tear right away. When sanding, you can't press or push the sander hard because the paper will tear. I found that if the paper is taught, you just let the sander do the work and work in a circular motion then the paper lasts much longer. Eventually it will fall. In the end, I can still use the "wasted" paper as block or manual sanding paper, but the point of the purchase was ultimately to use the palm sander.
