This add is very misleading. The way the content is worded, I was under the impression that I was buying a trash can and lid. Instead I received only an over priced trash can lid alone.

The post couldn't be clearer. The "reviewer" just can't read or think.These lids are not overpriced; they're among the best it's possible to acquire for their intended application. I've used several every day for years outdoors without the first hint of cracking or weakening. For polyethylene that depends on inherent flex to seal (as opposed to latches, clasps or threads) that's impressive. They and the barrels are also gratifyingly easily cleaned. I'm glad Carlisle is widely distributed instead of being exclusive to restaurant supply outlets.
