Kinda? - If you passed this title and already played Skyrim dont waste your time. With that being said though, if you'd like additional play time after finishing Skyrim then this would be "right up your alley". Review: I recommend you. - I recommend you.

A me piace molto.

You know whay it's like, you finally find a game that is immense, non-competitive (so you don't get mates yelling 'COME ON!' in your ear and the atmosphere doesn't get tense when the game is brought up) and has an almost immersive storyline. You set up the PC make yourself comfortable and start playing then after an hour, if you're lucky, the computer hangs and the program crashes. It happens again and again and no amount of varying of the preferences make the game playable for more than an hour, usually less, at a time before the frustration occurs again, grrrr. But the game is great, the freeform wandering, ok the quests are a little linear but going for a walk in goblin infested caverns and destroying everything living (or not) with stolen shaman staff that blasts lightening or working on the speechcraft/mecantile aspects add distractions and extend the gameplay time to more than a hundred hours. The GOTY version holds two expansions that either take you all over the map or to another land in a hidden dimension to take on one of the dieties of the world. Entertaining and enfuriating, but in a good way. The PS3 version has everything and more than the PC version, the game does not crash at all (hurrah!) and the graphics are impressive (stand on a high cliff and look into the distance, you'll see what I mean) and the almost widescreen look was quite an unexpected bonus. My only gripe about the console version is that the scenery is full on whether you want it or not, the preferences for the graphics are brightness only. The greenery tends to obsure not enhance and time is wasted hunting about the long grass for a hind or hart that was downed by a long shot with a bow, more so if the carcass has slipped and rolled down an incline, then blind chance and instinct has to tap your shoulder and point. An all round good game for the 1stPP questing gamer in terms of size and gameplay, I just wish I had bought the PS3 sooner and not eroded my teeth down to the dentine with all the grinding in frustration at the PC version. (BTW the pc works fine with other games, I should hope so its a quad core)
