Great grapple for the price.
This is a very good grapple for the price. It's very strong and pretty heavy duty. I've had it for around 1 year and I've been busier than a monkey with two weenies. Doing a lot of tree work, debris removal and land clearing. Make sure to go ahead and get quick disconnects so you dont get air in your system. I've had to do one thing to beef it up a little. I had to reinforce the metal plate that protects the cylinders from getting damaged when clamping. Other than that, this is an all around great attachment and Epstein didn't kill himself.

Get the hoses for it also.
Works great. Be sure and get enough hydraulic hoses and connectors also, especially if your tractor only has two additional hook up points (in the rear of the tractor.) The grapple has one female and one male connectors and enough hose to get about 2-3 feet behind the attachment.I have used it to pile up logging trash for burning. Very strong.

Build quality issues make it unusable!
Received my 60" HD Root grapple after about 2 weeks from order. Overall quality of materials used (metal, hydraulics, lines, etc) and packaging were fine. But the upper left mounting bracket was welded on in the wrong place, (see pics). The left-side bracket is clearly inset more than the right-side, and spacing is different between the sides. This only affects the upper hook, not the lower pins, which line up fine. But with the left-side hook welded in the wrong place, it's impossible to mount to the tractor, making it a very expensive 700# paper weight. It's been 6 days since I receipted the implement, and I've called and sent emails. 2 calls were hung up on by the automated system. The 3rd call (3 days after emailing) someone did answer and say that my email had not yet been assigned to anyone.I'll be happy to update this review if or when Titan actually works with me to remedy this issue. The only "fix" is to either exchange the grapple for a properly made one (no small task given its size and weight) or have a fab shop cut off the bracket and weld it on in the proper spot. I'd have rather paid a little more for something that worked right in the first place.

I've been using this grapple on my JD 4520 for ...
I've been using this grapple on my JD 4520 for two weeks. It has exceeded my expectations. It required a pair of hoses 17' long to get from the 3rd function couplings behind the seat to the front crossbar of my 400CX loader. ($460.00 with quick couplings plus a gallon of oil). There are cheaper versions of this attachment but if you have need something that will survive real work I think this is it.
