Dickies Men's 874 Flex Work Pant

These Dickie brand pants are a pleasure to wear for both casual and work wear. The fit and feel make them great. Like most things trying to find your style, size and color choices is sometimes difficult. The material is of a medium thickness and a good looked that has just enough give. The pockets are deep enough to ensure things stay where they are supposed to while roomy enough so you are being jabbed with the contents 👍👍👍👍👍

I have to give these 4/5 because they are very well made and look great. I imagine they're pretty durable as well. However, these "flex" pants do not flex *in the least.* Not a single square inch of these stretches in any direction. I've gotta return them, and I'm a bit sad because I think if they had at least *some* give, they'd be exactly what I'm looking for.

I like the slanted, ample front pocket openings. Good fit, good spacing and size on the belt loops and ample fit through the thighs. Ordered 3 pairs so far for casual work pants. Very happy with these pants. I use a Groove Belt which is just a tad shy of 1.5" in width. In these, it slides in the loops easily. In the 874s (the NON flex), it is very tight. It fits, but takes a little more aligning and pushing through, at each loop. No problems once it's on, but just a slight difference a buyer should be aware of. If your belt is wider than 1.5", or even a thick leather belt of similar size, you may have trouble getting it through the loops in the regular 874. Be sure to order the 874F (flex). I'm happy, just wanted to pay it forward with an observations.

I should have read the reviews before buying because the waist size is smaller than what is said on the label. I initiated a return but I have been on a diet and exercise program and they now fit. Still a little snug but not too bad. They are very well made and are durable for my kind of work. I got lots of compliments on them at work.
