Amazing!!!
Due to ADHD related sensory issues, my toes are extra picky and I require shoes with wide toe boxes. I bought cute Converse shoes that I thought would work well for my toes, but they ended up being slightly too narrow in the toe box. The photos made them look like they had a more rounded toe. Bummer deal! Instead of returning them, I wanted to try and figure out how to stretch the toe boxes a bit. The rest of she shoe fit very nicely, so I wanted to make sure I found a solution that only addressed the toe box. I saw info online that said to get your shoes wet and stuff socks into them, put a bag of ice inside the toe box and put them in the freezer, etc. But I’m too lazy for all that! Plus those tricks don’t always work. I found these stretchers and, while pretty skeptical, decided to try them. I had low expectations, but was surprised at how sturdy and well made they were. The wood is high quality, and the metal cranks and screws cranked smoothly and flawlessly. There are little plastic pieces you can add in case you have corns or need a bit more stretch in specific spots. I let my shoes sit with the stretchers in them for two days before trying them on. They fit PERCECTLY. The toe boxes are now wide enough to where my toes have plenty of room, and the shoes aren’t damaged at all (I was very careful about not cranking the stretchers too hard, but hard enough to get some solid stretch action going). I didn’t add heat, get them wet, or do anything besides let them sit. It’s day 5 of wearing the shoes and they are still stretched out and are now my most comfortable shoes. I highly recommend these shoe stretchers! I wish I had found these long ago… it would have saved me many returned shoes. But do be careful about the pressure you put into stretching your shoes, as some shoes aren’t of the highest quality and seams may burst as you crank the widening parts. Side note - these can also be used as shoe and boot shapers. My husband is able to use them to keep his leather work shoes in good condition without creases while he shines them or when he isn’t wearing them.

Works okay
Works okay, but doesn’t widen as much as I hoped The product has no strong smell and is easy to install and use. It fits inside the shoe well and seems sturdy at first glance. However, while it does widen the shoe slightly, it doesn't expand the sides as much as I was hoping for. It looks like it's working, but you can’t force it too much — it feels like it might break if pushed too far. Overall, it's decent for mild stretching, but not ideal if you need a significant amount of widening.

Break in or stretch out your shoes
Used this on my Nike AF1 sneakers and it definitely worked to make it roomier (lengthwise, not width) by up to a half size. Your mileage may vary depending on your shoes. I didn’t prep my shoes beforehand, just popped them in and cranked it until there was resistance and left it in for almost 72 hours, cranking after every 24 hours for maximum stretch. This seems like a high quality product that won’t break, made of sturdy wood, and heavy duty.

Good product to widen driving shoes
These shoe stretchers work well. I bought them to widen a pair of Puma speedcat driving shoes that felt a little narrow in the front. After about 24h, the shoes have stretched nicely (without damage) and are comfortable to wear. Good product. I will try them in my Pilotis as well.

Not for heels
These do not work well for high heels. Too wide and high to fit into area needed to stretch. Nice quality if you are wanting for something other than high heels pumps

These are worth the extra cost if you need to mold the shoe.
These are very adaptable and easy to use. They have saved my golf shoes and allowed me to prevent a pressure area on a toe nail area that has been a problem. These are much more effective than the standard spring loaded shoe shaper.

stretch my butt!
this product might be fine for stretching shoes much smaller than mine, provided they aren't too sturdy of a shoe. i wear a mens 10.5 give or take depending on the brand of the shoe. i thought buying a pair of shoe stretchers might just be the answer to my prayers, given that everything these days seems like it's made for a person who is half my size. my feet are, apparently, wider than whoever they're making shoes for these days. i have several pairs of shoes that just kill my feet because they're just a little too tight. these shoe stretchers do not seem solid or well made. the plastic and metal that make up the stretching mechanism of these seem cheap and chinsey and i do not hold out much hope that they will win a battle of the wills with a pair of sturdy sneakers, much less a nice pair of leather shoes. the real problem, though, is that these things are barely 3 inches across at the widest. the way that they are designed, the tip fans out at the tip so what stretching they provide is all concentrated at the toe. this might be useful if the shoes crowd your toes, but since the mechanism expands by maybe an inch, this will only be of any use if the footbed of your shoe is significantly less than 4 inches. as an adult male, my size 10.5 shoes measure, on average, 4.25" across the pad, so a stretcher that maxes out at 4" is of limited utility. so, if you have a small pair of gummy or plastic shoes that are either too short for you or for some reason need the frontmost toe area stretched a little, these stretchers might do the trick. do not, however, make the mistake of thinking that you can rely on the description that says they are for men's shoes size 8-12. they are not. they will not stretch a mens 10-10.5 at all except maybe lengthwise, and i suspect that they would either punch a hole through the toe of your shoe or strip the screw if you tried to use them for that. the size on this item is severely misrepresented and the quality seems iffy. you probably should give them a pass, but if not, be sure plan on ordering a size if not two larger than they say if you want it to work.

Bought this to see if I could stretch some expensive joggers I bought online that were killing my feet because they were so narrow. Well it actually works amazingly well and now using it on other shoes that were a bit tight.

All new shoes take a few wears to adjust to foot. But this means our feet are taking the beating. With this product, I just leave them in my shoes for a day or two and they are comfortable as ever. I recommend having a pair at home. Works well with flats as well as heels.
