Almost Perfect in every way
SKIP TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS REVIEW TO READ AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT SOME DIFFERENCES I FOUND WITH "THE MANVEX COLOR OFFERINGS"First off, this is a beautiful case! It exudes quality, sophistication and professionalism in the color, texture and overall design. I love how I am ALWAYS asked several questions about my Surface RT before, after and sometimes during meetings and conferences that I attend. I attribute this in part to my Manvex case. This is my third attempt to find perfection in a cover for my Surface RT and there are many of my RT brethren out there who are searching in the same way. I have given this case 5 stars because it is the best case that I have found for me, and since ALL reviews are subjective, biased in some way, I am going to briefly explain why my case deserves 5 stars despite its imperfections.1. The Manvex (Brown) case has two methods to ensure that the case stays closed - they work in tandem but not simultaneously...If the keyboard is attached, then you must use the elastic band. If the keyboard is not attached, magnets embedded in the cover of the case will securely hold it in place. I actually prefer to carry the keyboard with me at all times just for convenience, then detach and stow it underneath the Surface when I'd rather feel my way through my tablet experience.2. There are (4) sets of (3) channels that run the length of the inside of the case that allow you to set the viewing angle of the tablet. This is great since the Surface only has one angle when using the built-in stand. These channels provide just enough friction to keep it in place. In my experience, these channels almost seem to hold the tablet in place better when the keyboard is attached to the Surface.3. This tablet is finger friendly! There is more than sufficient "finger swiping" room on the tope, left and right sides of the Manvex Case. For those of us Surface users who have not realized yet that swiping from the top and bottom of the screen yields the same result, this case is fine for you, too. Note about the bottom support - I wish they had scooped just 2mm more from where the Windows logo is since it is partially covered. When I want to hit that logo, I have to twist my hand about 180° so the flesh of my finger tip can have maximum contact with the logo since the area is so small. I have average sized hands and slightly longer finger nails than most men (I play guitar and piano). If you have really short fingernails (nail biters?), you will be just fine.4. Minimal on Velcro!!! This is really the main reason why I love this case. Other cases use Velcro to strap the case into place but the Manvex design is easily the best design out there. There is one long Velcro strip that is stitched, not glued, on all four sides to the lower back of the tablet. The straps that keep the tablet from slipping out the bottom of the case (only when the case is being flipped open into working position) are of the same piece of the case so if/when the tablet has to come out for whatever reason, the fuss is at the lowest possible level. It is REALLY secure and doesn't shift around at all. This is the most secure Surface case I have found to date and I have stopped looking for anything else.5. I have access to all of my ports and memory card slot. Not that there is no way to open the built-in stand while the tablet is in the case (someone may have that question, out there), but you wouldn't anyway. There are other Surface cases out there that use the built-in stand for propping but it looks like a real hassle to me. My last Surface case (an Evercase) was a 3 star case IMHO, and because my Surface shifted around inside of the case, and I had to always un-Velcro and re-Velcro the straps for standing position, the power button was hard to properly de-pressed. No issues at all with the Manvex case. One note about the charging port - the side straps do not interfere with connections for charging but then, the Surface charging port is a really crappy design to begin with. It's going to be fiddly whether or not you're using a case.6. This case is designed such that the interior of it always stays facing the tablet, unlike some other designs out there. This is important to me as far as keeping debris and yuk off of my tablet."THE MANVEX COLOR OFFERINGS"I originally wanted the black version of this case but read several reviews which clued me in to the fact that there are different versions of the black case on Amazon for sale. I contacted Amazon to see if I could have someone visually check to see if there was a black one that was identical to the brown one that I went ahead and ordered but they could not due to the location from which it was shipped. If you are weighing the black one vs. this one, beware that they may not be the same as there are different revisions of the black case and it seems that this brown on is the latest version of the Manvex case and the one that I ordered.Happy Surfacing!

Fits the Dell Latitude 10 with Extended 4-Cell battery (barely)
As you can guess from the title, I didn't buy this for a Surface Pro. Background story, Dell messed up my order and gave me the bigger 4-cell because at the time they were out of the 2-cells. I guess for most that would be great (free upgrade) except that I wanted slim, light, and portable. I especially wanted a tablet that would fit the case I bought to go with it. Fought with Dell CS for 2 weeks, some claiming 2-cell batteries didn't exist, and that 4-cells were standard. The one person that acknowledge the 2-cell existence wouldn't sell me one, said they were for new computers only, and I'd have to get a refurb, except there were no refurb batteries. Tried buying a 2-cell battery from Dell UK website except it wouldn't ship to US addresses. So my only options were to return the tablet, purchase the "3rd party" non-Dell certified 2-cell for twice the price of the official battery, get the big, heavy, tank-like Griffin Latitute 10 case, or look for a generic fit folio/stand case. And that brings me to the Manvex Slim and Compact Leather Folio for Surface Pro. I opted to look for a generic fit folio. But before I did that I started searching dimensions of other ~10" tablets to see if I could get a better fit. The closest match I found was the Surface Pro (10.8" x 6.8" x 0.53"). Latitude 10 w/extended 4-cell battery (10.8" x 7.0" x 0.64").The Fit:I expected the Latitude 10 to stick out the bottom a little bit when open, but because the Manvex fits the Surface Pro with the keyboard docked, I was positive it would still fit and fully cover the Latitude 10 when closed because the type keyboard adds 0.2" to the height of the Surface Pro, which would make it match the 7.0" dimension of the Latitude 10. As for the thickness, I presumed there would be some leeway in the case and that it would be flexible enough to fit.So the case arrived, I've only had it for a few hours, but my assumptions were correct! The length dimension fits perfectly. Regarding the thickness, the case backing (different part than the stand portion) is flexible enough that it curved with the battery to allow a good, snug fit. Lastly, the height. OK.. so the Latitude 10 sticks out the bottom by 1/8" to 3/16", which causes the Windows buttom to be covered slightly.More importantly, the case closes shut with the magnetic latches and elastic band perfectly! Mission accomplished. A slim fitting case to protect my Dell Latitude 10 with extended 4-cell battery.Loss of Functionality/Access to ports:Not really. All ports on the right and left are exposed and fully usable. Because the case was designed to fit with Surface Pro keyboard, there's a giant opening on the bottom that allows access to the Latitude 10's docking port. The Wacom stylus fits in the stylus holder. The Latitude 10 has stereo mics, one is covered but one is exposed so it should still be usable for chatting without removing from case. The front cameras and sensors are also fully exposed. Along the bottom bezel the Windows button is partiall covered as I previously mentioned, but not a deal breaker. Along the top edge the power and lock button are exposed, but the SD card slot is covered. This probably won't be a deal breaker for people since most are sticking a "permanent" SDXC card in there for extra storage. Last but not least, the camera hole matches the camera location on the Latitude 10. The LED flash gets covered though. Conclusion:All things considered, I'm really happy with the case. It certainly doesn't fit any worse than a generic tablet case would fit, but it definitely looks better than most. With a few minor tweaks Manvex could make this a specific Latitude 10 folio too. So now I'll be returning the useless custom fit Dell Latitude 10 case I purchased from Dell because it doesn't fit the botched tablet configuration order they sent me and failed to correct. I'll be flipping Dell CS off as I dump it in the mailbox (my first negative experience with them actually). The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I'm unsure about longevity. Some of the stitching and cuts look a little iffy for durability. For example, 1 of the cuts doesn't have a good round on it, which can lead to tears.I'll be recommending this as a good "generic fit" to the many Latitude 10 owners with 4-cell batteries in the tablet forums. I'm going to try and post pictures of the fit.

schlechte Qualität
schlechte Qualität, wirkt billig, fällt halber auseinander und ist unpraktisch. Das Surface man alleine ja schon sehr gut stehen, da brauch man so einen integrierten Ständer in der Schutzhülle nicht
