I have pets so I thought this would save me money. It is easy to clean and traps a lot of dirt and hair but it starts to whistle after a few days of use and the paper filters dont whistle for a few weeks. It fits perfectly, no size issues.

Great filter for my air system. Sturdy and durable. This is my second one. Time to replace the original one I put in 10 years ago.

I have used this quite a long time in the heat pump air handler. The construction is great, easy to clean, and the fit is perfect. The bottom line is does the job I expected it to do.

I think I've had this about a year now. Every three months, I turn the system off completely, remove the filter, wash it, let it dry, and replace it. LOVE not buying bundles of disposable filters now!Yes, it's more expensive up front, but in the long run, you save a lot of money. And I definitely have no extreme environmental views, but I still don't like throwing anything away unnecessarily. (I came from the recycle your glass bottles days...) So, solid win on that part.Washing is straightforward: I lean it against a plastic sawhorse, and with a garden hose (no nozzle), I spray from the "clean" side. In other words, opposite of the air flow, as to not try to push the dust/dirt further into the filter. I guess that's obvious. About 3-4 minutes of thorough rinsing, then I use the yard blower to remove as much water as possible. Then about an hour or so in the sun, and it's good to go for another 3 months.My only regret is not buying one of these years ago.

First, I have been meaning to order these for a while now. I have an attic furnace and one in the basement. 2 different sizes. I noticed that our AC units have been not working so well, the lights would flicker everytime the units would turn on. And with it being severely warm in MI this summer, this has been occuring often. I decided to contact my furnace guy, he came out and serviced my basement furnace. There was blockage in a few spots. AND we found that I forgot to change my filter....for almost 1 year. With pets and children and everything else, the disposable filter that the furnace guy removed was disgusting. He placed my new filter in and since then, I can tell there is a HUGE difference in not only the air quality, but the air flow. A friend of mine who has been in the HVAC business for over 45 years suggested I purchase these a while ago, and that I should get 2 in each size. One for use and one to clean as they are said to take a bit to dry, and placing them in the furnace if they have any moisture is not advisable. I will be purchasing another set soon. One other thing I like about these is that they can be inserted in any direction, unlike the disposable ones. I am not a pro with the furnace, so that is one less confusing thing for me to think about. I didnt take any pictures, but both of my filters were packaged and delivered wonderfully.
