Paranoid Deluxe

Absolutely love the quality of this press of one of my favorite albums. Sounds amazing on my system

My favorite Black Sabbath recording in a deluxe two record format. This is the one to get….

As soon as the first track, "War Pigs", took off, with Iommi's chords, Geezer's bass, and Bill Ward's pounding backup, I knew that this was a great purchase. And here comes Ozzie's piercing vocals. The next track, "Paranoid", never sounded better. "Iron Man"...play it LOUD!...any old time rock-n-roll fan should own this set...a favorite of mine is "Fairies Were Boots"...a good one to dance around to...if you're a Black Sabbath fan, get it...if you like great rock music, get it...

BUYER BEWARE--These 2016 Warner/Rhino remasters are exactly the same as the earlier 2009 UK remasters except for two songs on the first album, which are NOT new but simply placed differently with this American release. The two songs are WICKED WORLD and EVIL WOMAN. In each case they put one or the other as a bonus track. Same goes for Master Of Reality and Paranoid. Nothing different, just changed around. Basically these are the American versions and the 2009s are the UK versions. But the differences are extremely slight and not worth the plunge. They are claiming that the first album is a 2012 remaster (I couldn't tell the difference). The other two are the same 2009 issues. ALL THE ARTWORK AND BOOKLETS ARE THE EXACT SAME THING!!! This really made me mad and I got refunded. The one visible difference is the label artwork on the discs themselves. It shows the old greenish Warner label, but its not crisp and clear. Its blurry looking similar to a homemade disc labels. It looks CHEAP! If you don't have the UK versions this is a cool buy, but its a deceitful marketing play on an unsuspecting owner of the 2009 versions. The 5 stars are for the band, Not the record company's tricks.,

This is listed as being from 2016 but is actually a much newer re-issue.The first copy I received was virtually unplayable with lot's of surface noise and lots of marks on the record surfaces. 2nd copy was much better but pressing quality is not up to par, compared to the original 2016 release.

Inventors of heavy metal...What else can I say?Every riff and detail on this album is awesome! A gem indeed.My favorite track, planet caravan takes you places way beyond your body could ever take you. Just listen closely.

I love the original and with this you get a bonus disc. It sort of plays like karaoke with the instrumentals, you catch yourself singing just like Ozzy.
