Great toy for 2 1/2 Year Old....
We purchased this toy for our 2 1/2 year old grandson. He loves it! We are very impressed how easy it is to use for his age. Truly a GREAT "first" race track for real young ones. The track is made of plastic and we taped the the four corner pillars to the table/floor to give it little more stability......which was not a big deal. Overall SUPER pleased with the ease of use for this age group.

have to say my 4 year old twins love this toy
The only negative is how fast you go through batteries. Also wish it came with more than two cars. However, have to say my 4 year old twins love this toy!
