There is no restriction and I can really go at the bag. Great value for the money! PS I purchased size large black.

This is a very good product for all martial arts practitioners, I tried them last night and my shins dont hurt and I could kick my pushing bag with strength but not the same speed as I used to when I was in my 20's and weighing 83 kg. Not too bad for an "old" guy like me with almost 51 years and weighting 308 pounds actually. I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT specially for security guards like me.... ;))
