Fancet Faux Leather Aviator Pilot Cap Adult Men Winter Trapper Faux Fur Earflap Hunting Hat Waterproof & Windproof

Bought for my husband who is very happy. It fits well and looks good and keeps his ears warm. Haven’t tried it in the rain yet but would highly recommend as a great winter hat.

I have just received this item. I am a little unwell at present, so haven't tested the hat in the rain yet. My head circumference is 62cm, and I purchased brown faux leather XL; and it's a comfortable fit. The cap feels very warm, and I am pleased with the overall appearance. You are bound to feel a bit of a 'poser' in a hat like this though I suppose. Bottom right photo on the 4 photo collage shows the hat with adjustable chin strap fastened with stud popper fasteners. If you have an even larger head you can loosen the hat a little further using the popper fasteners on the little strap at the back of the hat. I have several warm beanies but this aviator cap should hopefully also keep the rain off my glasses, and make it easier to put on and take off face masks by lifting the ear flaps. You can also strap the ear flaps up using the chin strap lifted and fastened over the top of the hat; see single photo. Not the cheapest of hats but I prefer the design of this to any other similar hats I have seen, and it doesn't use real leather or fur. I have only given 4 stars for water resistance and weather proofing because these haven't been tested yet.Postscript: I bought a second faux leather hat in green which didn't fit as well as it was just a little less generous in the dimensions. The faux leather material also seemed inferior to me. I returned this for free via Royal Mail using a QR code provided by the seller, and having got refunded I bought a second one in brown. The lining on the second one was a little sparser and the peak seemed a little less well aligned. Another reviewer mentioned wearing the hat the other way around which I tried (see 8 picture collage). Strangely this also seemed to help shape the peak on the second hat as it became slightly rounder when around my neck with the hat in reverse. So I have kept this second hat in brown as a spare. The hat has also since been tested in the rain and is definitely water resistant, but I have not worn it in a prolonged downpour yet.

Doesn’t feel or look like waxed material it is very soft. I haven’t worn it in heavy rain so I can’t say if it’s waterproof. It is much lighter than I was expecting.

Brilliant hat for people who spend time outdoors in all sorts of weather. Good choice of colours and sizes. I have a small head and the small size was good fit for me. The chin strap has three strong press-studs for adjusting. The wired peak can be moulded to shape. The waterproof fabric is robust with a soft fur lining for warmth and is of good quality. This hat is well worth the money and is so comfortable I hardly want to take it off!!

This is an amazing hat, easy to use and superbly warm for the head face and neck. I would now never venture out into the cold without it. If I could give it 10 stars I would do so. I love it.

Bought this for my husband when we’re walking the dogs, particularly along the beach, where there is little protection from the elements. It is certainly waterproof and keeps his head and ears warm. It’s well made and good value for money.

Not as warm as expected as cold wind seemed to go straight through but waiting to warmer weather to use to check how waterproof.

Die Mütze sitzt gut, ist gut Verarbeitet, Druckknöpfe sind ok, sie hält auch gut den Regen ab und wärmt gut. Ich bin zufrieden mit dem Produkt.

Konnte die Mütze gestern gleich testen und bin begeistert.Bei stürmischen 4-5 Grad und teilweise heftigem Regen, hat die Mütze Kopf und Ohren schön warm und trocken gehalten. Auch auf einer kleinen Radtour hat sie den Kopf schön warm gehalten.Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist ebenfalls sehr gut.
