Oregon Fruit Products, Canned Fruits, Blackberries in Light Syrup, 15oz (Pack of 3)

I live in Oregon and often cannot find this quality brand in local stores. Happy to find them on Amazon. Yes, freshly picked are the best but not always available. Wonderful memories of growing up picking blackberries around my grandparent's lake cottage in upstate NY was my incentive to purchase these blackberries. My grandma made the best pies! A delicious reward if we managed to come home with more in our baskets than in our bellies. (o: I had these sent to our destination family reunion so I could make cobbler for my sibling, nieces, nephews and their kiddos (in Grandma Alice's honor). They are a bit expensive, but combining them with frozen berries can make them go farther. The syrup is light which makes it feel a bit healthier too. My nieces asked for my recipe and that, to me, means it was a great purchase.

I have used this product for years and it can't be found in the supermarkets where I live anymore, so I was delighted to find it through Amazon. Love the product. It's wonderful for Muffins and pies.

I'm happy to be able to buy these online as you can't find them in any stores anymore!! IF you love blackberries all year 'round, this product is for you!!

Awful product! Definitely could not use this for my pie, way too watered down. If you ask me, I bought mostly water with a dozen berries inside. I just threw out the other 2 cans. And they cost a ton! Hilarious!

Enjoying it

I have used this product before and it is still great. Hard to find even in big box stores .

I use these canned berries because they're great on vanilla ice cream. I haven't open them yet but assume they will be as good as always, and I'm saving them for a special occasion.
