NadC 558 Manual Turntable with Pre-Assembled Movement, Magnet Phono Cartridge

No instrution manual.Not sure what black plastic key is for ?Or smaller allen key!.Looked on line for setup.A little bit of faffing around and I think it was set up properly, sound was very good going through my A.E. speakers

Works perfectly, exactly as I expected it to. NAD has always made quality products, at reasonable prices.

Ordered this NAD C538 received the first unit from audio advisor and it would not read any disc no matter how many I tried. Some of the cd's I tried were almost new with not a speck of dust or dirt on them, so I packed it up and sent it back choosing to have another unit sent to replace this one, same exact model. And guess what the replacement does the same exact thing. I'm done no more cd players from NAD too bad to because NAD used to be a good reliable product but not anymore I guess. Remote is a joke for 349.00 dollars, Build quality is very good but what good is that if it does not work!

NAD continues to produce solid equipment. This CD player stands up to the NAD name.

Very nice looking unit, but very poor sound quality. Absolutely no detail of instruments. Skipped on a couple of tracks of a commercially made CD. My 36 year old TOSHIBA sounds 10x better. Returned unit immediately.

Great simple CD player with great sound.
