KEEN Women's Wichita Hiking Shoe

So, this sneaker is not really goot for hiking. In fact, I think if you did anymore than a day hike in perfect weather, you might destroy it. It's not waterproof. Admittedly, I should have read the description more thoroughly, it doesn't CLAIM to be waterproof. But when I see "keen" and "hiking" together in a description, assumptions are made. I bought this for a week long camping trip but I won't be using it for that. No way it will hold up. It's a very nice sneaker, don't get me wrong. It's got great stability. Very comfortable. Not blingy. I'm keeping it to use for other activities that involve walking, which is why I'm giving it four stars. My first inclination was to send it back. But I tried it on and changed my mind.The outside is a nice soft leather and some mesh material, neither of which would really hold up to the elements. This shoe will be instantly dirty, and forget about what mud or water would do to it not to mention the fact it won't keep your foot dry. The mesh would catch on twigs etc and snag. So really all in all, NOT a goot outdoors hiking shoe, but a decent walking shoe/sneaker. They should call it a walking shoe.

I was going on a family trip and needed a decent pair of boots/shoes for the long trails. Well I broke right into these bad boys on the first day of having them and doing a good 3 mile hike. I had no issues with tightness or foot in general flopping around. My big problem with the fit is that the toe box seems rather large. What I mean by that is with the rubber toe feature on the front of the shoe the shoe itself feels larger in that are on the inside that normal shoes. Since I had no alternative out in the wilderness I'll be holding on to these, but I do wonder if a half size smaller would fit better. Guess I'll just keep wearing think socks in the mean time.

I have lots of Keens and lots of sneakers; this pair is THE most awesome in comfort! The arch support if very high inside; which is fantastic for my flat feet. I have a very narrow heel and wide toebox; these accommodate both. I got the sand dollar color and they are adorable! I am going to have to get some type of waterproofing for the leather; hate dirty shoes! I purchased a size 8 in these and they fit great. In most shoes, I am an 8.5-9; so I would say these run large. Very happy with these; will repost when I do lots of walking in them to see how the comfort level is then....I really want the grey; will see if they go on sale! Highly recommend! These Keen's do not seem to have the degree of arch support that I have come to love in Keen. They fit alright, but not so as that I can say I love them. They are a bit of a disappointment. I don't understand why each and every style of Keen is a little bit different in it's foot bed. The original sandals that I bought hooked me on Keen and every time they differ a little or don't fit as I would want them to it is frustrating. These shoe are neither too small nor too big for me, but still not the Keen I grew to love.

I work as a nurse and have always had a hard time finding good long-lasting shoes to endure the hours and hours I spend on my feet. These are now the only shoe I wear to work. They never hurt--even the first time I put them on (right out of the box) and wore them to work (yeah I know, this was risky). They are breathable and after more than a year of wearing them, they still look brand new. They are a little pricey but I waited until there was some sort of sale on them before I bought more---and trust me, I have multiple pairs. I now own one pair for work and 2 pairs for going out. Would highly, highly recommend.

I have a hard time finding shoes that feel really good, partly because I'm pretty picky about comfort - plenty of room for my toes to wiggle, but a nice narrow heel cup that my foot won't lift out of. Keens have been a mixed bag for me recently, with some fitting well, some just not being a great style (ankles hit, not enough arch support, etc.), and some having unhelpful sizing (where an 8 is too small but an 8.5 too big). So I was thrilled to receive these and love them as soon as I put them on! They've been fantastic since I got them several weeks ago, and I even got a couple of compliments the first day I wore them. I just wish they also came in a black or gray as well.

Very lightweight shoe/sneaker even if Keen calls it a "hiking shoe." I needed to add my orthotics because there's very little arch support. I ordered a size 10 for my 9.5 feet and am glad I went up 1/2 size so my toes won't rub against the end of the toe box. Plenty of "toe wiggle room" in the toe box. They are a boxier looking shoe 'in person' than they look in the photograph. This is definitely a warm weather, fair weather sneaker/shoe.Don't know if I'll be keeping them.

I love Keen shoes. I have injured both my feet at different times so now my footwear choice is very limited. I need toe room, arch support and firm overall support. This shoe just didn't give me those things. My foot slipped inside the shoe, mostly side to side. I sent these back and ordered Keen's Ambler Hiking Shoe. Those fit great. Love them!

Light and comfortable - just the job for bimbling about in!

Ich bin absolut angenehm überrascht von diesem Schuh. Er ist unglaublich bequem, vor allem nicht so steif wie manche Wanderschuhe, sondern sehr weich, flexibel und leicht. Trotzdem gibt er guten Halt. Die Größe fällt sehr großzügig aus. Ich liege so zwischen 41 und 42 und habe bei diesem Schuh in 41 noch reichlich Platz vorne, aber das gefällt mir, zumal die Füße ja auch immer noch mal anschwellen beim Wandern. Aber auch für den Alltag ein super Schuh!

Sehr schöner Schuh, hat mir gut gefallen. Da Keen erfahrungsgemäß ein bisschen kleiner ausfällt habe ich die Größe 38 bestellt. Diese Modell fällt aber wider Erwarten normal aus, deshalb leider zu groß. In Größe 37 gab es ihn leider nicht. Deshalb zurück.Dieses Modell würde ich jedem weiterempfehlen!

Toller Schuh, mega bequem, guter Halt, warm, so dass man ihn auch bei schlechtem und kaltem Wetter tragen kann. Größe fällt entsprechend der normalen Größe aus, perfekt, einfach cool und nur zu empfehlen, 5 *

Einfach Keen, mehr bedarf es einfach nicht. Gleichbleibende gute Qualität und Passgenauigkeit! Man lauft fast wie barfuss. Immer wieder gern gekauft!
