The Best of Friends Paperback – August 18, 2020

I loved how this story unfolded with the different friends’ perspectives. The twist at the end is awesome and this book kept me on the edge of my seat!

Dani, Kendra, and Lindsey have been friends since elementary school. They have faced many difficult things together as they grew up,but nothing like this! This is unimaginable! Their sons, who are also very close, have had a terrible accident. Or was it an accident? One boy is dead, one is in a coma, and another is traumatized so badly that he can’t even speak. What really happened the night of the accident? One thing is for certain: things are not as they seem!This is a wonderful book, a real page-turner! The characters are all quite authentic, and they take the reader through their tumultuous emotions as each faces the unimaginable. The plot contains many surprises, the kind that makes the reader say to herself, “I should have seen that coming!” This is a fun read!

Three friends. Three sons. Two Shots. One tragedy.Wow! This story hit close to home for so many reasons. I actually had to put it down for a couple days because I have three sons (16,17, and 18) and one got in a car accident and it was just too much. But I picked it up when my head was in a better place and I finished it. I love the drama aspect of the book along with trying to figure out wth happened.I related to a character or two in the book but, sadly, they didn’t seem to develop past that. I usually can remember characters and who is with who but it just didn’t happen here. Trying to remember who’s kid is who’s was a lot harder then I had hoped. Also, they kept referring to the night they don’t talk about and it killed me we never got to hear what that was.I love multiple POV’s. That’s my jam and this book did not disappoint. Though I just felt like something was missing. It was a good story and the secrets that came out gave some good drama.I have heard so many good things about this author so I had to try her out. This book was good. Maybe I expected a little more but I finished it. I have other books to read by this author and though this one wasn’t perfection I have high hopes for the others.

This thriller had me hooked from the start — full of twists and tension that kept me on my toes the whole way through. The pacing was great, and the suspense was well-executed. My only small gripe is that the character web was a bit hard to follow at times — I actually had to make a list to keep track of who was who and who was married to whom. That said, it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience. Definitely recommend if you like intricate, gripping reads.

Absolutely love this book even though the ending though expected still broke my heart. Excellent storyline I hope they make it into a movie!❤️

A story about friendship and how tragedy can pull people apart. This is not what I 3xpected this book to be. It was a grief story more than a suspense book for me. I still enjoyed it.
