Kirkham is the goat
Amazing for leads and rhythms and if you flip the pick around, it’s really good for pick slides and it grips really good. The size is really good. The sound quality is good. It feels good. It functions really good. It’s good variety for jazz too.

Great picks
At first they felt a bit weird in my hand because they are smaller than a standard pick. After using them for a while I found that I prefer the size and the thickness. Excellent picks just wish they sold these in a bigger pack.

Fast articulate pick
Takes getting used to but worth the effort if your prone to dropping or having your pick move around.

Not as great as the normal, black Jazz IIIs but they'll do, and they're great to give away!
A buddy of mine and myself trade picks back and forth. He'll get a bunch and send me one of each and I'll do the same. Sometimes they're from concerts and directly from the stage, sometimes, like these, just another "signature" pick (if it was his actual signature pick he'd only have one style!).Anyways, one of the picks was one of these. I picked it out of the others in this latest bag of plastic goodies because of the odd shape & glitter design, it stands out among the rest. So I grabbed my Les Paul and ripped through a few =VH= tunes and finished up with "Sanitarium" so the ghost of Cliff didn't come and kick my ass. When I was done I was happy. You're not going to drop them. The lettering on both sides is high enough that these have a superior grip to the regular black Jazz III picks but that cutout feels a bit weird to me...it feels like you're losing your grip on the pick bc of that empty spot, it's odd. Speed is a little slower than the originals or the Eric Johnson's. These will do in a bind but I wouldn't use them if I couldn't make a mistake like at a gig or in the studio unless I got used to the feel.If you want to increase your speed within a week of buying a new pick then buy the original black Jazz III picks by Dunlop. Those increased my speed so much.

Great gift idea or for actual use.
Dunlop makes some of the best guitar picks in the industry. Modeled off of the actual picks used by some of your favorite artists, their Artist Series puts the same guitar pick used by your idol, right in your very hands. Not a knock-off or a cheaper version. These are the real deal picks that are spec'd out by the artists themselves. These are the actual picks that Kirk Hammett currently uses while on tour. If you've ever seen them in concert, these bright green picks are hard to miss on every microphone stand on their stage.Multiple gauges to choose from so look for your desired thickness and give them a try.For the value, yes it may seem a bit much for 6 picks. But, like a lot of things, you're paying a premium for the Artist Series picks.Would I buy these again? I bought these as a gift for a die-hard Metallica fan. I would absolutely buy these again as a gift or for the cool tin itself.
