Very pleased with this sturdy-enough shopping trolley, which I've now had for several months and used a lot to carry heavy things home from the supermarket. It's not bad looking in the corner where I have to stow it, and it has a good amount of space, while still being light enough for me to push the shopping trolley while pulling this. It could use a little more space, but no complaints otherwise.

(Wife writing on hubby's account) This is my first shopping trolley ever. I'm 40 years old and due to a health condition I find myself with hardly any energy anymore. I'd been toying with the idea of getting one of these wheeled shopping bags and my latest trip to the shops confirmed I should get one. I can shuffle there and back just fine but carrying bulky/heavy bags back with me is now a stretch. So I looked online for a while to find the right one for me. I'm 5' 10 so wanted a taller one so I don't have to stoop when pulling it along. At 95cm tall this one seemed a good height. I nearly settled for a cheaper one but upon looking at those reviews the bag didn't seem to be attached very well to the frame and kept either blowing all over the place when empty or the top flap was reported to undo under strain when full etc etc... So I looked a bit more and found this one. It had good reviews and seemed to be more attached to the frame, aswell as most importantly: being tall enough! It took about 3 days to arrive and came in a box which was as tall as the trolley but fairly flat. The first thing I noticed pulling it out was that it really was very lightweight. The wheels were in a separate little bag. In order to assemble you just yank the little black ends off the axel and push the wheels on in their place. There is a step by step picture instructions card to follow to make sure. Once the wheels are on you push the frame out into place and that's it. Upon inspection of the bag itself, I was very impressed and more excited than I should be about all the little pockets and straps. Especially against some of the negative points on other models. The bag itself is insulated and securely attached to the frame so it will stay in place even when the bag is empty. The main compartment has a toggle closing and also a long flap over the top. It is secured by a strap with a snap fastener (I dunno what they're called but you can see in the picture) so you know it's not going anywhere with a full load or bit of wind. There are also two additional pockets on the front, one insulated with a toggle fastening under the flap (great for bottles). There is also a flat, zipped compartment on the other side for any other bit and pieces. Additional features of the bag are a carry handle on the side like a duffel bag and two plastic loops for a shoulder strap (provided). So it looks like you can also take it off the frame and carry it about as an independent bag. Like I said, I am a bit stupidly excited about this new shopping trolley. But I didn't think I would find one so practical and cool. And it is the actual height as advertised and a very comfortable height to pull along. I guess I was expecting to be let down in some way and am very happy to report that I wasn't. This seems a very good bit of kit and I can now shuffle my backside to the local shops and bung my stuff in my little baggy and pull it home without fear of passing out as soon as I get there. Marvellous!

Bought this trolley to replace a similar one that lasted two years daily use carrying my gear to our local beach for sea swimming. I like that it's lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. It is also good and roomy, with handy drinks pockets my previous one lacked and a proper buckle fastening to secure the flap. The trolley appears reasonably sturdy though I notice the material around the drawstring pull cord is already beginning to fray. I paid a bit more for the Hoppa trolley thinking it would be superior quality but it seems the same as my old one in that regard. It does have better wheel fixings though, and it was those that failed on my previous one so we'll see. I registered purchase for the guarantee and the trolley was £10 cheaper than on here, annoyingly!

Never owned a shopping trolley before. I'm reasonably fit but getting on a bit so decided it was time to stop the wear and tear on the arms and shoulders bringing home the shopping and diy stuff. This machine is brilliant. On arrival all you have to do is fit the wheels which just pop on, and attach the bottom velcro strap. There are two pockets at the front and one at the back plus a brolly holder. The inside is lined with silver insulation material. It has a carry handle on the side and also a shoulder strap so you can fold in the stand and easily transport it on your way to the shops. The wheels are big and sturdy to negotiate kerbs and steps, and potholes. I got a bit of stick for buying a shopping trolley but I've had the last laugh. On the first outing I practically ran all the way home from my local Iceland. So glad I bought this. Money well spent.

Excellent value for money, I've had mine a few years now and it still works well and looks like new. Easy to manoeuvre and holds a lot of shopping . very sturdy mine is used weekly and I have no issues.

My brother is 56 and a carer for mum.hed had to go out various times with a cool bag across shoulders and a bag for life.and at times heavy or not enough room so was carrying x3 bags and caused back or arm aches. Just came home from shopping and called it a super shopper.great for height as insulated frozen and fridge bits stayed cold and packed loads more than normal. Was greatful for umbrella pockets as it down poured heavenly but he didn't get wet as could carry a umbrella and walked home quicker as so easy and safe great wheels. Bag is great as hung in shower to dry and packs away flat in cupboard. I brought as a present and he was reluctant to except. But said also its normal for men now with trolleys as was feeling smart with theg black one il brought. Very happy with this trolly. Recommend to males and females all ages

Had this a year now and don't know how we ever managed without it. Use it all the time for heavy shopping and it has proved very robust and manoeuvrable. The capacity is large and the additional features like the umbrella holder and a place to put a drink and the outer zipped compartment have all been extremely useful and practical. Also looks classy. So pleased that I intend ordering another of the same this year even though there is plenty of wear left in this one.
