I bought these books (+ Magical places) as a gift for Christmas and I honestly did not expect such a cheerful scream when the recipient (a hardcore Potterhead) opened it. After taking a look at the book myself, which I really wanted to do as soon as it arrived in the mail looking so glamorous (but alas, you cannot open hardcovers like the first time again, so I refrained), I can understand the absolute appeal of the book. A gorgeous and well-thought out, in-line with the movies layout completed with very well-written texts and costume snippets and it really highlights and details all the effort that went into bringing the characters we all know and love to life. There is no worthier present for a Harry-Potter Fan.

Another book in the “Vault” series, it is filled with tons of pictures/art just like the others. Only issue I have is my copy seem to have more noticeable scratches? Or marks? Not sure what those are. It’s like permanent smears of whatever that is. But they are only visible under certain lighting/angle but once you know they’re there I can’t stop seeing them. Specially the front has lots by the title. My guess is just normal shelf wear? But not that big of a deal to me since you only see the spine once it’s in the shelf. The book itself is still worth reading.
