Terrible build quality. Plastic feels cheap and flimsy. Camera reboots randomly whenever you're issuing commands to it. Only their proprietary mobile app is built to work well with this camera, and you have to download it from a plain, almost shady-looking website hosted in China. You CAN make the camera work with other viewer apps, but the video quality is very poor. Oh and good luck figuring out how to access the camera from any other software. I spent quite a while reverse engineering it, and while I was successful, I didn't like the quality at all. There is absolutely no information about these out there. They're not even really called SkyGenius. The camera identities itself as being made by NETCAM, Inc., with a model of "NVT of NETCAM". So buyer beware, these appear to be cheap knock-offs of other more popular IP cameras.The camera firmware is buggy, the documentation is practically nonexistent and what you do get is nearly impossible to read (probably just been passed through Google Translate or something), and the image quality is nowhere close to the advertised 960p. I didn't come anywhere close to HD with this camera. Lastly, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get the microphone or listen modes to work at all. Just do yourself a favor and ignore these.

This works great. Even if you have satillite internet or slower speeds it works well. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I cant say it enough that having one of these is a must. Even if it is just for the sole purpose of indoor usage such as baby monitor, or checking in on a pet. I love that you can virtually check in any where. The set up is fairly easy. The packaging was perfect, and it arrived safely and in a timely manner. The description for this camera is accurate. I have used a few different brands from expensive ones to average priced ones and this one as far as price is concerned is worth it. If your not looking to spend an arm and a leg then this is probably the camera for you. You will need to purchase separate cloud to store or record but that is common with all cameras. But if your sole purpose is just as a monitor then you are set to go. This would also make a great gift for someone having a baby. It has night vision and can see in the dark really well, and the sound in undetectable. Works with wifi. I received this item at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

Received at reduced price to review this product. Works very well with clear picture. Nightvision works well. Pans and tilts perfectly. The speaker works decently but the mic does not really pic up at all. The directions were poorly translated English but they did get the job done. It did take only a few minutes to setup the APP on my CELL phone but there was NO supports for browser based viewing. My biggest complaint however is that there is NO way to find the external IP. After 2 hours of trying to figure it out and speaking with customer service (who were friendly but quite unhelpful) I managed to create a free ddns and use ddns to view/control the camera from the internet without having to download "the required plugin." If they just put that you need to ddns ... or if they just put the EXTERNAL IP anywhere, I would give 5/5. Now that it's working though I would buy again at the discounted price I payed to review this product.

We got this as a second camera to check in on our dogs and our house while we are away. This camera allows us to pan all around our dining room and foyer - as well as back door. It allows us to pan up and down as well as side to side and the app works very well for this. Item connected with app easily and simple. I have tried a couple other cameras like this which were much more difficult to connect - which have subsequently been returned. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that the images are not as clearly focused as the images off of our SereneCam. Still very good quality though (picture below for example). This camera also comes with good mounting hardware if you want to put on a wall or the ceiling. Definitely recommend.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I have tested more than few P2P WIFI cameras. Some worked pretty smoothly, Most work after some degree of frustration, rebooting, software reloading and emails to support, at least one did not work at all. But the SkyGenius is proving that designers are finally working out the many of frustration bugs of the first round of models.The SkyGenius does not pretend to be wireless to be your network. So far, my experience is that this technology is still not only inconsistent, it is riddled with privacy safety issues. It attaches by Ethernet cable to your network (you will need access to Ethernet and to power), it then joins your wireless for transmitting signals.Setup will require either an Android Phone or iPhone. I found the an android device without a phone running Kitkat was not compatible with the software.In the owners manual is a QR code to download an APP. IGNORE this. It does not work. Go to Google play store, or Apple store and download instead NetCam360. It must be NetCam360, No other version will work.Once you have NetCam360 you can Add the camera and the complete the installation process.Be prepared for loud, ear-piercing 20 second sound test between your phone and the camera during the synching process.I purchased this IP Camera at a discount for my honest review and opinion, and although somewhat doubtful, I am a believer.
