Looks and feels very quality and is a monster in size
I don’t know why i didn’t catch the 15 inch part in the title for some reason i thought this was going to be like a 5 inch blade, don’t know why, so i was pleased to see its WAY bigger than i thought, great for the money.

Needed a bit more sharpening before my first outing with it, but pretty good.
it seems to be weighted/balanced nicely, and I like the case it comes with, which makes it easy to carry in a backpack or two attached to my belt when I am hiking. The knife blade did not come as finely honed as I would've expected/hoped, but it sharpened up nicely with a little work using standard knife sharpening tools. Compared to some of the other options on Amazon, it seemed to be a good value. I can't speak to its longevity yet.

A very great Bowie knife with some potential
Its very great bowie knife from out of the box, came in sharp and pointy. Tested the bowie knife by hack and slash to the log test and it prove be oddly durable. I also tested if it could cut through 3 or 4 inch diameter branch by hacking around the branch which it cuts through easily and also batoning it made more easier to make firewood out of the branch cuts. Overall great bowie knife with some potential however there is some cons about this bowie knife that I thoroughly researched about. This bowie knifes tang is a partial tang meaning that the tang only reaches half of handle which meant to be more for kitchen knives but somehow it is durable from what I tested on the log and branch cuts. And from watching videos about the SZCO bowie knife it has some potential to be useful in bushcraft but I think it can but for smaller uses like cutting branches or bushes to traverse around the woods or build shelters. Again overall great knife with some potential but if this SZCO Bowie knife was a Full tang it would be the tru bushcraft ever to be made by SZCO.

Not bad for what it is.
It's not bad for a cheap knife. I do know quite a bit about metallurgy, as I've forged knives in the past from steel files. I can tell you that the claim the manufacturer makes regarding this being made of D2 steel, is a bit dubious at best. It does have a bit more carbon to it than standard stainless steel so I have to give it that. Given the low cost of the knife, I don't think you'll be disappointed in it for what it is. It has a decent construction overall, but there is some degree of chineseium in the product. This was $18 at the time of purchase. Considering it's low cost, I think you'll be overall satisfied with what you have. Do keep in mind though, that this is not a bushcrafting knife by any means. For something like that, you'll want a shorter blade. But in the zombie apocalypse I think this knife might be a bit helpful, and that's likely where it will shine. LOL.

Careful She's Sharp
I accidently purchased this knife while browsing the Cold Steel Knives, thinking it was a Cold Steel Knife. At first I thought "What the Hell! Wheres my Cold Steel?" But I soon realized I had purchased one of the other brands that they like to throw in alongside the Cold Steel selections. Human Error? Yes and crafty advertising. But all is well that ends well and I must say I am very happy with the knife thus far. The 9 & 3/4" blade is impressive for a thirteen dollar and fifty cent knife (after taxes). It has a great classic Bowie shape and is sharp enough to shave hair. The handle feels good in the hand. No complaints there. The sheath is cheap nylon, its not really good and its not really bad, it serves its purpose. Have not had to sharpen it yet but thus far Siskel & Ebert give it 2 thumbs up.

Bowie Knife
This thing came very sharp, glided through a piece of paper when I tested it. Overall I think its a pretty good size, the handle is a bit blocky and might not be super comfortable for some people but I personally like the grip.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that for $20 I received a large Bowie with a black oxide coated 420HC Steel blade, and a well made rubbery grip handle...overall I hadn't expected such good fit & finish and overall decent quality for this knife at the price I paid for it. I like 420HC Steel blades and so far this blade has withstood some hard use, and I have easily sharpened it as sharp as it possibly could get.
