EatMyTackle All Roller Guide Boat Rod | Saltwater Fishing Rod

I've been a die-hard PENN rod buyer (supporter) and of late I've noticed quality and options fading. Figured I would try something new for a change, Eat My Tackle kept coming up with great reviews on quality, packaging and shipping times. Dug in deep on the research of their rods, read some great reviews and pulled the trigger on the 80/120 rod. I do a lot of grouper fishing and needed something to horse these fish out of the holes and then have some fun with the fight. Eat My Tackle rod does the job perfectly. I'll be looking closer at some of their other rods as well. Good job guys and keep up the quality. Made in the USA for a change!!

I bought one in 2017. Great trolling rod. I take care of it. No rusty parts. Rollers function great still. So happy, I bought a second one.

I own 4….3 of these rods. 30-50lb. They work very well with big and smaller halibut. Good tip response and feel. 1 rod broke on a really big fish. Not sure what happened. Could have been a bad blank or maybe pole hit the edge of the boat. I wasn’t on the pole when it happened. Great price. I would buy again.

My fishing pole arrived today in a torn cloth bag. Not shipped in a cardboard tube for protection like any normal quality product would be shipped in. Of course the bag was torn and butt scratched. In regard to quality the pole looks well produced with the exception of rollers out of alignment. The tip is out of alignment with all the other rollers, definitely a quality control issue. I would not recommend these poles based on both craftsmanship (alignment) and lack of shipping protection. I’ve ordered dozens of fishing rods and never had one arrive without a cardboard shipping tube until now. Why waste your time and money on an item bound to get damaged.

Arrived fast and I can't wait to try out on open ocean fishing for Halibut and Salmon. I know that this style of pole is overkill, but with disabilities it's design should help me fish more. I don't work for my fishing equipment.... My fishing equipment should work for me!

Rumor that it's a great brand so I bought it. I received my fishing Rod today while I was at work, got home about 11:30pm. First thing rushed over to my package. My 5 star review is on how it was packaged very very very IMPRESSED square box with bubble tape then round tubular package with more bubble wrap last in came in it own fabric casing. Rod better then what expected..will give another review when i go out on a trip...😊😊

Nice rod but time will tell. Roller guides are not cnc aluminum as advertised!!! There stamped steel!!! Magnet will stick to them!!! Didn’t wanna spend top dollar on a star rod so I picked eat my tackle to give it a try. Not to impressed so far. Will see how well it does when fishing. Time will tell. I will update the review once I got some fish time on it.
