ALPS Mountaineering Zephyr 1-Person Tent Floor Saver

It's a floor savor, so there's no real thrills and frills with this.I just wanted to state that the floor saver DID match up size-wise to my Zephyr 1 tent. I read reviews where people said it didn't fit the footprint of the tent. Either they ordered the wrong floor-saver for their tent, or they received something they didn't order.I own three ALPS Tents - the 4-person Morada, the 3-person Taurus and the Zephyr 1. I've had no problems with any of the tents, and our scout troop that has ordered other ALPS products had no problems with returns if a pole snapped or a rain cover ripped.

If you buy the ALPS Mountaineering Zephyr 1 Tent, you NEED to get this foot pad. If fits perfect and even has the buckles that clip to the ends of the tent to avoid your rainfly from blowing away from the tent frame. I have used this numerous times (in the PNW where we get quite the amount of precipitation) and it has held up great. No visibly signs of wear and tear yet, and definitely a great price for it.

Way too thin to be protective. I'd rather use a medium duty tarp. This thing is super thin and lightweight so I'm not sure what it really would protect against. I took it out of the bag while setting up the tent and put it right back in its bag.

A little pricey for what it is, but does exactly what’s intended. The size is just right to roll into the tent bag.

The ground cloth is constructed of very thin material, but I'm in hopes it'll last for this fall's hunting season. Time will tell.

I suppose this footprint did its job, but it wore out on just the first night. I used it once and it got a hole in it. In a way, that's what it's supposed to do, but I expected a little more use out of it.

Great price for a footprint compared to what many other 1-person tent footprints cost. Definitely get this for your Zephyr 1 tent! It rolled up into my existing tent stuff sack just fine. It was much more convenient to use than tyvek or something that doesn't hook into the tent poles.

Perfectly snaps into the rods for the tent and fits the plastic snaps for the tent itself so you have two ways it is attached to the tent. I have not yet tested this in the rain, but will be soon, I hope. Overall, with limited testing, I like it and since it is very light, and protects the tent's floor, I recommend getting it.

Works awesome!This also allows you to pitch up your tent fly without the inner tent, u can go ultra lightweight if you want, or if you need it for the beach as a shelter.This floor saver give you more flexibility and opens an extra feature when paired with the tent. Its worth it!
