The real deal. I have been given a Mont Blanc each time I have graduated ( bachelor’s, grad school, etc,) When you are a researcher, you never quit going to school so I have an impressive collection and love them all! If you like a substantial pen with great balance that never leaves ink blots, they are always perfect, you will love the le grand. I find I can write longer without my hand getting fatigued. Beautiful professional pen with the Mont Blanc box and case. Everything you would expect from buying at one of their stores and if you’ve never had one, it is a real treat and you will never want to write with any other pen ever!

It's a fantastic pen - really, it's the refills that are fantastic. This writes as well as any $2 dollar pen will. But if I didn't buy this, then I wouldn't have a fancy-dancy status symbol in my pocket declaring I'm a better person then you are because I have a MontBlanc. Maybe all this says about me is my inability to make good spending decisions on practical purchases: having to overcompensate for my lack of, well, you get my "point." The cap screws on, and I hate that! I like the click on type. But on the slip side, the cap doesn't come off when it's in my pocket. Jeeves, make sure you rate this five starts too! Jeeves! What are you doing? Are you really adding that to the review too? STOP THAT JEEVES!

This is the crème de la crème of pens. Hefty but great feel in the hand, writes like a charm, worth the price and the Mont Blanc workmanship. Seller send the item pronto and packaged well.

In a sea of secondary market counterfeit Montblanc pens, what a pleasure and relief to have the real thing. That's what I have a now - an elegant and functional Montblanc Meisterstuck Le Grand Rollerball pen... and at a good price. This is in no small measure due to Steve at A-pens. The best of the best. Montblanc store did not recognize its authenticity when I went to a store to engrave the Pen. They asked to send it to their HQs in Texas to audit if it is original or not. 4 to 6 weeks to have a position. They showed me the original at the store. It was bigger in size and the Lid removable was different. I rather return the pen, get my money back as I did and purchase at a Montblanc store paying an additional $$. Sometimes we want to save money and put on risk the entire product. Now even if they had audited and the final position was it was a Dated model from many years ago I would not have any pleasure to keep this pen. Probably would give me bad luck! Huge mistake. It is not worth all the time I spent, fuel, etc...never again!

Nice pen. The larger size fits my big hands nicely. This pen isn't suitable for people with smaller hands. The threaded cap is nice to prevent the cap from falling off. I wish they would have put threads at the tail end of the pen to secure the cap when writing. The rollerball ink cartridge writes as smooth as a baby's bottom. I bought a Fornay pen and two ink cartridges dried out after a short time. I haven't had any issues with this pen. The drawback is the price. That's why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

I am a pen collector, and I love this MontBlack Grand Rollerball! It fits in the hand comfortably and writing is so smooth with it!

I recently gave this as a gift to my sister; I had forgotten that my ex-wife and I had given her a similar one 30 or so years ago. The pen casing on the original just recently cracked, and I wanted her to have a new one. A fine pen.

Der Meisterstück Le Grand Tintenroller von Montblanc ist schon ein teures, aber auch sehr edles Teil. Liegt in der Hand wie der Füllfederhalter aus der Meisterstück-Serie! DHL scheint mit der Lieferung herumgezickt zu haben, aber nun ist sie endlich da!

Im Büro und unterwegs schreibe ich nur noch mit diesem Stift. Die Qualität ist überragend, der Stift ist extrem wertig. Endlich den Stift, mit dem ich schön schreiben kann. Ich bin nämlich Linkshänder, und das ist gar nicht so leicht.
