PUMA Men's 6 Pack Crew Socks

I was looking for new casual wear white socks that weren't too bulky or too paper-thin. I also preferred that they were basically cotton-free. These PUMA brand socks are a blend of polyester and spandex, which is what I wanted. The high-count cotton socks tend to ball-up and hold perspiration, making wearing them uncomfortable. They also don't hold their elasticity and wind up bunched up at my ankles as they sag. These PUMAs have just the right amount of bulk to let my feet feel good without any "hotspots" due to bulky fabric rubbing where areas of my different shoes contact my feet. Since these are new to me my only concern with them is how long will they last. I can't guess about that at this point, but my fingers are crossed, as all six pair came out of their packaging intact with no loose threads and no holes. It was touch-and-go as for no holes because the socks were packaged by the manufacturer with the typical pasteboard wrapper around the top portions of the socks, while the feet were gathered together with those infernal plastic binding tags. You know, those really thin strands of plastic that look like fishing line with a "T" on each end, and are pushed out of some kind of handheld "gun" that pushes the tag through the material to hold everything tight together. These aren't bad if they're used with pasteboard or cardboard on each side of the socks, but these weren't. One end of the tags had pasteboard on that side, but the other end was simply left out in the open. This almost always ends up with the open sided end getting pulled back into the sock material and this is how you get pulls and holes started. One of the reviews I read about these socks talked about how many holes showed up when the reviewer got them out of their first washing. My guess is this was a result of some of those plastic "tags" getting into the fabric and breaking some threads in the material when they were finally removed. I managed to avoid doing this to my socks and they came out of the wash just fine. I like these socks. I like their price. I don't like their packaging.

I’ve bought 4 6 packs of Puma socks over the years and each time I purchase a fresh 6 pack I pass down my old socks to one of my teenage boys who used to hate them till they realized that even two year old socks are still like new and last them. I’ve kept my socks for 2 years each set and they’ve always been like new when I pass them down to my boys. I really can’t justify replacing them unless I’m giving my old ones to my kids and I work all day so I need to pamper my feet and these things are just indestructible and extremely comfortable making them the best value for my money for socks of any socks that I’ve ever owned. The elastic never seems to wear out and the cushion of the socks stay thick and the toes seem impervious to sharp toe nails as my boys wearing 3 and 4 year old socks are still like new. These socks are amazing and a real value. These socks are what it used to mean when something had a made in America tag on it and I am not sure these are made in America but they are certainly made with care using crazy good materials, I highly recommend these socks.

Boyfriend loves these socks. Good for the value, quality is good for socks. Thickness is great according to my boyfriend. Easy to put on and look neat with the logo showing.

Socks tend to run a little small especially after washing. Buy size bigger. Excellent quality.

If you are a sock fan, these SOCKS, the gray ones, are the best SOCK ever, just saying.

These are pretty comfortable for light-dury white athletic socks. Several months in, the elastic is still holding on my legs and there are no holes or defects. How will it be in three years, I cannot say, but so far, meets expectations and was a good value for the price.

These socks seem to balance the stay up capability with not being too tight above the ankle. They are very comfortable and are now my favorite athletic sock.
