New Orleans lady and gentleman Very Happy
Thank you so much for offering these. I know what it means to miss New Orleans. The packaging and delivery were perfect. The Elmer's Goldbrick is one of the very few things that has stayed true and are highly sought after no matter where we have roamed. There is nothing like the pecans within the chocolate that is then perfectly thinly coated with more Elmer's chocolate. From child to adult, you bring Easter home. My grown kids agree.

The BEST Chocolate !
Living over 1,000 miles from “home” (Louisiana) this is the ONLY way to stock up on ELMER’S chocolate eggs - Milk Chocolate is the classic variety, but the Dark is great too.

Creamy chocolate for the top of your food chain, promise!
The best chocolate made. Period. This is a very rich, smooth, creamy milk chocolate with lots of melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Actually, I remember buying little gold foil "gold brick" candy bars when I was a child; they were very small, but for a reason - they are so decadently rich a little goes a long way. You could easily overdose on these, that's why I order two or three cases a time! This is the standard by which I judge other chocolate candy. In comparison to Hershey chocolate, the chocolate flavor per se is not as pronounced but they are richer and creamier. They come closer to tasting like Cadbury chocolate, but even then, these are top of my food chain.

Delicious
Growing up in New Orleans, we had Elmer's Gold Bricks year round. The Eggs only around Easter. Finding that the Eggs were still being made and I could get them on Amazon was a treat. When I was a kid they were only in Milk Chocolate and now they make them with Dark Chocolate too. I like the Dark much better. But I bought two cases of the Eggs before Easter this year...one Milk and one Dark. So good and they bring me back to my childhood. Glad they are still in business.

My Easter Favorite
My favorite from Elmers. I do find that they had fewer pecans than usual.

THE CANDY ARRIVED VERY SOFT. IT NEEDS TO BE SHIPPED WITH SOME REFRIGERATION.
CANDY TOO SOFT; NEEDS ICE ON IT.

The Best
I have been eating Elmer's Gold Bricks since I was a child, back in the 50s. They used to come in a small brick shaped wrapper. The chocolate was so good with bits of pecans inside... we would sometimes melt the bars and pour over ice cream. Then I lost touch with Elmer's for several years until I saw the egg shaped Easter eggs that returned in the mid 90s or so. Now, I go mining for those gold wrappers when Easter is near. I hope I never lose touch with Elmer's again.Elmer's is simply and absolutely the best chocolate around, period! Better buy it by the box so it might last awhile. Don't know if I can wait till Eastertime comes around again. But it sure makes Easter so special!

No more Gold Brick for me
What a disappointment! I have enjoyed Gold Brick candy for 70 years and was so looking forward to receiving this order. It was nothing like the original. Dark chocolate is my favorite but this $25 candy is getting trashed.
