Use only wood in this device.
It was easy to assemble and with the cover, easily protected from the elements.Once lit, it burns very hot.The grill is appreciated but using it to grill takes some practice to cook through and not just burn the outside. The flames must burn down to live coals.The metal net protector keeps live coals from spreading outside the grill. It makes it safe.

Love this thing
A fire pit is something I just have to have. I was replacing mine every year and they seemed smaller and smaller. I finally decided on this and I'm glad that I did. We use it all the time, cooking and just sitting around. I love it
