Hunt'sGarlic & Herb Pasta Sauce, 24 oz

These are really inexpensive compared to other canned or jarred pasta sauce and they taste really great. I'm always on the look out for new items I can include in my dried and canned goods inventory, that stores well, and this item works really well for that. Plus, they just taste good! I will continue to reorder these and keep a surplus on hand for regular consumption but also for emergencies.

This gets 5 stars even though it isn't a pull tab opened can and not a jar that you can recap. The fact that I have to bring out the can opener and use Tupperware to store after opening and that I STILL gave it 5-stars should tell you how great this sauce is. It's incredibly normal with a good blend of garlic. Not too sweet, not too acidic. Plus it's like a dollar!

I've been buying this particular pasta sauce for about 20 years. It's not the only sauce I use but it's a good basic sauce that I use in a few recipes like lasagna and manicotti because it's smooth and flavorful. I do always add a bit more seasonings to it to achieve the best flavor that we like but it really doesn't have to be jazzed up if your in a hurry. It's an affordable option to most all of the other sauces out there, and I like that it does NOT have chunks or lumps of stuff in it. I also like that there is NO high fructose corn syrup in this sauce. ( We seem to get plenty enough of that junk in other products. ) I buy this at the grocery store, yet I've also ordered this from Amazon several times and have always receive fresh, undented cans.I do recommend this!

My go to sauce for over 10 years. They no longer carry this brand in my local stores so I am happy to have found it on Amazon. Great price, a very good base sauce to easily add your own spices, etc. to tweak the taste to perfection.

Easy, tasty. Thin, add flour or cheese to thicken if your want. I'm not a fan of the chunky sauces, so this is perfect for me. Great flavor, very versatile, easy to make my own.
