It's a huge light bulb and really bright. I've tried to make my room to be bright but the ceiling is too high and room itself is big so it was hard to make bright with normal size bulb. But it works so well and I'm very happy with this!

Great light for a garage or shed with no windows

I need a bulb with good clean light and even distribution thanks to the plastic diffuser, which is a issue with cluster LEDs and fluorescents. The base still casts a shadow, but only in the immediate vicinity so still looking for a high output bulb with a slimmer base/heatsink and diffusers that extends beyond it. I wouldn't say this is 400watt/4000lumen equivalent. I'd say its real world brightness is about 3000lumens. Still bright enough though. Lifespan unknown, but it's managed about 200hours so far

Beautiful bright light - the whole room looks different and its not dazzling on the eyes. It is very bright and looks like morning in the lounge area, I am very pleased with my purchase, highly recommended
