Clear Choice Silica Crystal Cat Litter 13.6Kg, White

I am giving these crystals a 5/5 so far BECAUSE my cat is using the litter tray. My cat used to use clumping litter but would sometimes go outside the litter box (in the apartment somewhere) and after reading many online articles, have come down to thinking it is because my cat does not like the feel of the fine grain/sand of the clumping litter - so the crystals are a better feeling as they do not stick to the fur and paws as much. If I had to be critical of the crystals, I would say that the litter DOES track as I find it all over the floor. I have had to buy a cat litter tracking mat to help catch any just outside the litter box, otherwise my cat would run it all around the apartment. And - that the litter does not last very long. I use a medium size litter tray that is not very deep and fill it with approx 3L of crystal litter. After approx 3-4 days, the litter needs to be be completely replaced, otherwise it becomes a cat pee soup and stinks.

Tracks less and lasts longer than some of the other crystal litters out there, great odour control too.

We purchase this brand as our cats like it, and the price is good for the quantity. We keep the bags of this size in a storage room and use it to refill the plastic container variant which stays by the litter boxes. We like this combination because our cats were able to scratch into the plastic bag quite easily.
