Tolle Backform.Hat beim ersten Versuch gleich hervorragend geklappt.Ich hab einen normalen Schoko-Rührteig aus 300g Mehl, 60g Kakao, 5 Eiern, 300g Butter, 200g Zucker, 150g Joghurt, Backpulver und Schokotropfen gemacht. Das war perfekt...sowohl von der Menge als auch vom Geschmack. Der Teig war trotz der langen Backzeit von über einer Stunde (bei 160Grad) schön feucht und fluffig. Die Form hab ich beim Backen nicht auf die mittlere Schiene gestellt, sondern eine Stufe drunter. Nach dem Backen hab ich den Kuchen mit Form erstmal auf den Balkon zum Abkühlen gestellt und erst mach ca. 20min gestürzt. So hat sich alles prima gelöst.Das Ergebnis war sensationell. Mein Mann hat sich riesig gefreut 😊

I like the idea of this cake but it's depth makes getting a decent sponge nearly impossible, the bonnet gets overcooked whilst the main body of the car is under cooked. It took me three attempts to get a passable cake. I like the idea of it but it would be much easier to bake a few sandwiches and carve it yourself.

Fantastic tin was sceptical about ordering it as wasnt sure I would get a cake that resembleda car but Idid. Used cakequantitiesfor an 9 inch cake and it was the perfect amount of batter. Made 2 already and only had the tin a week

Not used this tin yet as for my ribs birthday I will update then if necessary but it looks to be good quality and is thin but solid material. In my experience Wilton make excellent tins so I hope this to be no different. It is a decent size. Only down side is all measurements of required batter and icing are in US measures so although it's not difficult to convert them it takes extra time and as Wilton have an extensive UK market it's a shame these aren't already done for easeI have now had chance to use this tin it is excellent quality cake cake out with no issue with flouring tin.

When baked the 'car' came easily out of the tin. The downside was that the engine and the boot cooked more quickly than the rest of the car due to the density of the sponge mixture. Nothing that a grater can't repair!
