Tastes like Skittles candy!
I bought this flavoring without really knowing what (Sweet dough) even tastes like. It tastes EXACTLY like the insides of skittles candy, which was a huge surprise. It would be great if you're making hard candy, or if you're trying to flavor anything to taste similar to skittles.

LorAnn Oils is a product used by professionals and is a trusted brand. Bottle size is perfect for the occasional baker. But, if you want to enhance and send your sweet baked goods to the next level this is the product for you. It is not a “flavor”, it should be used to enhance whatever base flavor you want to elevate. It even enhances sweet doughs that have no “flavorings” added. This product will turn homemade into bakery quality. Try it in your favorite frostings too.

The flavour is retained after baking and u only need a small amount to taste the flavour.

Love the product but delivery took so long.

The most I test this, the more all I can taste is lemon. It tastes exactly like lemon madeleines.

I personally love the flavour and find that it enhances almost any sweet recipe (particularly good in ice cream and creamy desserts), but it has a distinctive citrussy acidity to it which is much more noticeable than the buttery notes. It does manage to convey the flavour of a danish pastry's dough and I personally think the lemony flavour improves many things but if you're not a lemon fan then you may not like it. Quite strong so a little goes a long way - definitely at least 2-3 times more powerful than usual supermarket extracts.
