Lovely illustrations and very cleverly told.
This book is stunning. The illustrations and the wording is perfect as an introduction. My 9 yo is studying ww2 through school and this is a great way to teach her who AF was without all the gory bits. I love the Facts and pictures in the back. I have one ordered the abridged diary for her to progress to.

Building a collection
We love these books in our house and are building a collection. Books are fantastic sturdy quality. My kids are learning history in a child friendly and not too intense manner. Would highly recommend this series of books

Great learning
Bought this for my seven year old granddaughter who is learning about the Second World War.Lovely, simple and beautifully illustrated book which really interested her. She took it to school and her teacher read it to the class
