Skeptic Turned Believer
I just looked at my electricity bill after having these boxes plugged in for three months and I'm astounded--a nearly 50% decrease in three months.Skepticism: My ex told me about these boxes; he's a gadget addict so I was 100% skeptical but I tried it. I figured what could it hurt? He said the boxes minimize dirty (excess) electricity sent to your home, which reduces your bill. He said his bill went from over well over $200 to $80 per month. I said I'll give it a try.Placement: He used three in his house which is about 3000 sq ft.I bought four for my house which is 4500 sq. ft. He said plug them in your home, one close to your electric breaker box and the rest as far away from the panel as possible. My breaker box sits in my garage. The closest plug in the house is in my laundry room. I placed one there and the others on the other side of the house on the top two floors. None in the basement (yet).Operation: I left them plugged in as instructed. Set them and forget them. Don't plug them and unplug them. Monitor your bill. He said he read something that said your electric bill would show improvement in three months. I gave it three months. Results: I didn't place these until late February. Between March and May, my bill has gone from $239 to $124. It has gone down in roughly $40 increments each moth. I have dual air conditioning and heating and have been running the A/C on hot days--so that's two A/C units. Still, I've experienced a decrease. If that holds -- that will mean a major savings over a year.I never like when my ex is right -- but he's right. I'm a believer. I don't even have one plugged in my basement and saw results.Recommendation: Yes! Highly recommend. Plug them in for 3 months and forget them. See what happens to your bill.

Don't believe everything you read on the web....
Pulling the devices out of the box and upon seeing the rudimentary English printed on them, I was beside myself. "Intelligent Energy Saver", "Electricity saving box", "The result is the best."They don't look like much nor does the wording extol belief in what the product claims to do.I received my set back in November 22' and it's been plugged since. I had hoped that over the winter months, December and January (coldest months) which are usually my highest bills of the year, the devices could actually do something. Three residents in a standard home of 1300 sq ft. My folks are older and enjoy the usage of a foot heater when watching television. That usage alone when the months are coldest will increase my bill by $50 dollars. So, Dec / Jan electric bills can cost $200 whereas the rest of the year will be lower than $120 monthly. After having these devices plugged for two months, our bill increased to over $350 for both. The extra money out-of-pocket is the most stifling. Not understanding exactly how these devices work and what they should be doing is probably the most difficult.See the photos of bills that other reviewer's had posted? The devices are inaccurately relaying to your electrical utility company that you are drawing far more power than what is actual usage. When viewing my detailed electrical bills I can see when the extra draw to power began. It started the day I plugged in these two devices. What the heck are they doing? I'm curious if the extra power utilization is to empower the devices to do something.. what I have no idea.I'm sure some of you wonder whether my kilowatt per hour costs increased. I checked on that also, my rates have been low for over eight years now. The city I reside in worked out a program with the electrical company to offer affordable rates on electricity. I check all utilities yearly to make sure I'm getting the lowest rates. It's not always easy to do, if you are aware of the process.Honestly I feel duped and ridiculous that I bought into using this silly thing. I paid this company thirty-something dollars to increase my utility bills. Money I could have used for something useful, ie massages, nice dinners, having a room painted! Worst part, I have these two silly devices and they cannot be returned!Warn you friends and family, it doesn't work!

They have me convinved
During the first month of use, my bill dropped from $103. 00 per month for electricity to $83.00. SO they made a believer out of me. I also bought a set for my daughter and am waiting for her electricity bill to see how she fared. I think it is worth a try for the minimal cost and possible huge savings

Give it time to work
I purchased this item(2pack) to lower the cost of the electric bill. It does have a pleasant steady low level green night light. To use, simply locate the nearest and farthest electrical outlets from the point of electric entry into the housing unit. Once plugged in simply leave it. There was a slight difference in usage over the previous month or part of the first month. However, to find that decrease it was necessary to look beyond the electric cash bill and look at the actual kWh used previously and currently. At the end of the first monthly comparison. the usage was down 33 kWh- hey the max used has been 516 per month so this is a significant change, considering i didn't intentionally curb the electric usage and the weather was between the 40's and 95 degrees so there was a heat and a/c exchange. Other factors that might interest - the living space is a 200 sq ft RV (stationary) and RV insulation from exterior weather plays a major energy roll - regardless of this electric saving unit(s). It's worth giving another month or two of testing to see if it will save dollars and lower kWh consumption.

Worked for Me!
Here in Conn., the electricity recently prices went up big time. My bills were hovering around $100. My sister gifted me two units, and I brought two more. After a month, the bill went down to about $60. After several months, it went to the mid-$50s. Since I run electric heaters in the winter, I want to get another two, one for the basement and the other for the heaters. A clear difference in my bills to below the prices I paid before the price increase!

They are cheap enough but do not see much savings
I expected better savings from the advertising.
