Why would you need to attach a GARDEN HOSE to your SHOWER instead of an actual shower head??Because, it's none of your business! J/K... I'm doing this because I need to fill my giant portable swamp cooler every day and I don't want to have to roll this giant thing outside to the hose, and then back inside (heavy, awkward, inevitably going to splash all over my floors on the way). So I've connected a spare hose to my spare shower in my spare bathroom. This is the best place to refill it because of its accessibility and lack of shower use. I could also use the hose to wash my dog too!Either way, if THAT is what you are looking to do, this adapter will work for that purpose.

I needed to connect a garden hose to my shower arm, and this did the job perfectly. Easy to install, and no leaks with teflon tape.I really think they should market these things better for this purpose; they would sell more of them. The average homeowner might not want to spend the time to educate themselves on the difference between GHT and NPT. I managed to use one for a in-ground sprinkler ststem, I ordered a wrong sized batch of swing arms and it was time sensitive. Only one head has the part on it, but no leak and no flow difference.Metal in plastic is not a ideal situation but as I said no real issue other than threads trying to rethread the plastic before I could get it to start properly.

Very niche adapter, but when you need something like this, you *really* need it.I have a NewAge Products garage sink and it includes a faucet adapter for a garden hose. Well, the problem is they didn't use GHT on the hose side and instead used NPT which prevented me from attaching any hoses (without spraying water everywhere, that is). This adapter worked great to fix that problem. You must still use some form of pipe dope/teflon tape to seal the female threads, but it otherwise worked as advertised.

This worked perfectly. I was trying to use a pressure washer to clean the grout in my shower. (Hint: don't do it.) You'll end up ripping off pieces of grout like I did. This was a last ditch attempt at cleaning the grout before paying someone to come replace it. Anyways, my grout adventure failures have nothing to do with this 5 star adapter. It's well made and fit the threading perfectly on my normal, average showerhead threading.

This worked well. It solved a problem for me. I needed to hook this up to my shower pipe in order to fill up my new waterbed mattress. No issues! This connected from my shower head spigot (or whatever it's called) to my garden hose. Now my dog doesn't scream over cold garden hose water and actually enjoys his baths and it's super easy to revert back to simple shower head mode for me. We're both clean and happy and this adaptor works. What more can you ask for?
