Knock on wood (1979) Maxi Single

Excellent song remember this

I got this as it was a 'blast from the past' and a good price. Besides, 'Knock On Wood' and 'Relight my Fire' the other songs are a little bizarre to say the least. Very electronic and besides the title song, not any great shakes (as well as being a very short album). However, it was good to sing along with 'Knock on Wood' after not hearing it for so many years!

This isn't Amii Stewart's 1979 album "Knock on Wood". It's a slap-dash compilation, put together with no thought or care. It contains only 2 songs worth listening to, Light My Fire & Knock on Wood, but only the single versions, not the extended mixes featured on the album that this is trying to pass itself off as. Avoid.

Why oh why play around? I don't want you to mess with it, I want the original songs that I used to love. That's all.

Amii Stewart est une grande artiste trop méconnue dont le talent ne se limite pas au genre Disco : chanteuse et danseuse douée, belle comme un ange noir, elle aurait mérité une carrière plus brillante. En plus de son méga-hit "Knock on wood" de 1979, quelques unes de ses belles chansons de l'époque fin 70/début 80 à découvrir sur ce CD.
