The edges are smooth, the bottom of the pan doesn’t leak. Gives a nice tight fit for any type of batter. Great price.

Great pan in a small size that's hard to find
I used this pan to make a small sugarless, flourless chocolate torte, where the baking instructions required an 8" pan and did not sound as if they'd be very forgiving. The torte turned out wonderfully (almost fudgy in texture) and baked perfectly in this small size pan. It did exactly what I want. This pan will also fit inside my InstantPot, should I want to make a cheesecake or similar item in there. I am very happy with it.

Terrible quality! Leaks and non-stick coating peels off
i purchased this springform pan to use in my instant pot. I have made cheesecakes and the size is great. The size is the only positive thing about this pan. The bottom does not completely seal and my first cheesecake had a soggy crust. After that, I wrapped the bottom with paper towels and wrapped these with foil. This solved the water sealing into the pan. My other issue is that the non-stick coating has begun to peel away on the sides. I only used a thin silicon spatula to loosen baked goods but the coating began to flake off and now comes off in large pieces when I washed the pan. It has now begun to rust.Even though I have had this pan for only 6 months this pan is going into the garbage!
