My hand also measures 4.5 so I got a large and they were waaay too big. I use the dowel effect and they were still very big.

Q: My palm size is 4.25. i am between small and medium. which one do i get. also, what is better for a beginner: leather or carbon

I originally ordered a small but the finger holes were to tight. I sent them back and got the medium and they work great. I don’t use the finger holes though. I pay on bar then wrap my fingers around. I ordered the carbon. They are great

The finger holes are small. I have a small hand yet I still cut each hole for easier fit. Also it takes some time and a lot of chalk to break these in.

Q: Which size would be best for me if I want more of my fingers covered? I measured about 5.5" to the big knuckle on my middle finger.
