I used to have a fixed, hooded hair dryer and this attachment works better -- the soft hood concentrates and distributes heat around your head so that your face and neck areas don't overheat; the amount of time for drying your hair is less; and depending on where you plug it in, it allows some mobility. Great size, too!

Bought this for an elderly lady who has issues with holding a dryer for any given time. Works well and comfortable to wear. Would suit anyone.
