Q: I've been using this product for years and never had a silver tube before. The product seems different, too. How is it changed?

This is an entirely new product, The others in the purple bottle and the old version of Friss Ease, the new more concentrated is in the Silver bottles and now called Beyond Smooth. It is a new and different product, Also it is more expensive.

Q: If I use this along with the Frizzease serum will it cause build-up?

I haven't noticed build-up in my hair and use both, but your mileage may vary.

Q: Does this have a fruity scent to it, or is it the newer fruity musk scent?

Smells musky to me. A little like old oil. I prefer the original scent.
