Q: My current Novela pads have a hole in the middle for the springs. These do not. Can I still replace them with these?

Here's what you would do. First, check if the entire pad's size fits into the brake caliper. If it does then, check if both pads (after installing) would magnetically stick to its place. Then finally, check if it has enough space for the disc to pass through. Also, check the spacing between the disc and the brake pads (at least 1 mm on each side). If all of this conditions are met, then you are all set.
