I ordered this yesterday, but just realized that it's made of plastic. Can I use this to stir hot wort (i.e. during mashing or cooling after boil)?

I have no issues with HOT Wort or my Hot Mash, It is very high grade made and very solid, if you get this you will be pleased.

Does this stirrer fit into a carboy opening?

The small end opposite of the paddle with fit through the opening on a glass carboy.
