How fire resistant is it?

Can the security cable be cut at all? with scissors? knife? bolt cutter? thanks.

The cable is pretty strong - definitely can’t be cut with scissors or a knife. I don’t know if bolt cutters would work but it’s possible. I didn’t try to cut it.

how do I separate Honeywell 8712009 halfs from product box ?

If this is pertaining to the deadbolt door lock, then you will need to remove the screw located behind the battery compartment.
