My original review for this was all positive and I stated the sound was clear with decent bass response but unfortunately I changed this review to less than positive. Don't get me wrong, when I first installed in my 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew cab the box performed pretty good but if your wanting your neighbors to hear it why your driving through the hood you better keep on shopping. I had a Kenwood excelon (X502-1 )500 rms, 1000 watt peak digital amp pushing that single 10" kicker L7 and a Pioneer AVH 521EX double din as my deck. It was just enough bass to make it alright for awhile but never being fully satisfied. I will be going with 2 12" subs when I start putting new system in so part of it is that I think but my problem with this kicker box is it's a shallow mount box witch is good for limited room but I really don't think it's enough volume inside box for that particular sub. I don't care what kicker states, they shove the box full of polyfill and that" tricks" the sound waves into thinking it's more volume than it really is but I'm not sold on that. I think companies think of the dollar bill first and foremost so they gonna tell you whatever to sell the product. I think kicker subs are good quality subs, I'm not knocking the subs but box volume is very important to the overall performance and sound of a subwoofer box. There are multiple box building apps and programs that calculate the correct box size for size, type of sub and the importance they all put on the inside volume to match subs is greatly emphasized. I'm no sound engineer or specialist by any means but I've been installing car audio systems with chest pounding bass since it's inception and growth in popularity. Maybe two of these would fair better but my money will go on two audiopipe or American bass 12s and a 4000 watt or better Rockville amp. You will hear that coming down the street no doubt.

I was kinda surprised how small the box was when I put it in my car. Super compact, solid and well built. Also, the Solobaric feels hella durable, not like a normal coned sub where you are worried that you need a grill to prevent a cone smash in. I powered mine off a Kicker 1000W compact amp and it's a perfect pairing. Hits hard, but not distorted low brow bass, but super clean and articulate bass. Highly recommend.

It fits perfectly behind my seat in my single cab Silverado. Sound is amazing great build quality.

Bought on after 3 months stopped working. Purchased a second, same deal. Now I have to ship them to Kicker for warranty and pay out of pocket for shipping costs. Just bought a Rockford Fosgate double 10 inch to replace. Sound quality is much better at half the price. See if that lasts.

Great product so far. This is my first kicker sub and I can say for one 10”. It sounds pretty damn good! If your looking for something that doesn’t take up a lot of room and and still packs a good punch with great sound quality. I would highly recommend this to you. I have a kenwood 5 channel hooked up to it on the 5th channel bridged pushing 500 watts rms. Plenty of power for this beast of a 10”.
