DVI-D Male/Male Dual Link Digital Video Cable, Black (5 Meter/16.4 Feet)

Well, it is not the one that i saw its image.It is a little bit different but it is okay with me.the differences are that the length of this cable is 1.8 Meter but it should be 2.0 Meters as was described by the seller, it also came without the core filters which i think it's important, and you can see its image that it has got two core filters. Also i noticed that is one of the screws is shorter than the others, and the last thing is that the color of this cable is completely black, not as you may see in the described image!!!All that is not important because you know that sometimes the manufacturer modifies its products without giving any notice, or it was only a listing mistake imaging.At the end its still a good cable although i think that the core filters are necessary to be included with the cable because you know at the end this is a display connection cable for the monitor.

I purposely came to this page to write this review. I wasn't asked to write this. When I get a product that really impresses me, I like to tell people about it.I bought these cables because I am selling an old monitor and I didn't have a DVI cable for it, so I thought I would replace my old DVI cables with some new ones and give away the old ones.When these DVI cables came out of the box yesterday, I was immediately impressed with the look and feel of these cables.The wires are THICK and hefty. The connectors are tightly constructed and have ALL the pins. They did not cut corners on these cables.I do not have any equipment to prove it, but I swear my two monitors look a LOT better than they did with my old cheap DVI cables.I am SO glad I made this investment. It is nice to see true QUALITY come out of a box these days.

Good:well constructed. Molded connector housings, sturdy and usable thumb screws (And I have larger fingers). Cable is hefty, not padded to make it feel thicker.Bad:The gold plated sleeves seem dirty, or at least not well plated.Overall:Other than some slight confusion with the cable being a "High Speed HDMI" cable with DVI connectors, it feels like it will be a good cable. unfortunately the monitor I purchased it for has bad back-lighting, so I don't know how the image is, until I fix my monitor.

I got this in conjunction with another manufacturers DVI-D Male to HDMI Male 15' cable to have some freedom with where I place my dual monitor set up. Having just moved into our new house, I didn't get a chance to hook these up straight away. When I connected this cable, I noticed that it didn't want to fully seat at the monitor side of the connection. To eliminate any possibility of a damaged junction, I swapped the ends of the cable and the problem repeated, but this time at the computer side. That's a clear indication that the product is bad, though I couldn't see any visible cause for the bad connection. I decided to fire up the monitor anyway just to see if it would still work despite the problem I had encountered, but my monitor started blanking out and splashing the screen with lots of unfiltered color sprays (green mostly) as soon as the computer booted up. I'll be returning this product and replacing it with another of the other cable I ordered (DVI-D/HDMI) as I noticed my monitor takes both connections during this process...

This cable is not a Dual Link cable. It functions as a single-link cable, but if you are using a high-resolution monitor and require a dual link cable, it will not work.It has Dual-link connectors, but the pins are not connected - it functions only as a single-link DVI. It is quite deceiving.Had to return it and order a REAL dual-link DVI cable. Save your time and order a brand-name cable like Belkin.

Shielding, low-noise video signal. Works really well. Connectors seem to be gold-plated, which is also a plus. Thumbscrew things fit right on the connectors on female connectors. Just a note: I ordered several of these, and the connectors are various sizes. Has no effect on the performance of the cable, but thought I might hare this.

DO NOT BUY THIS, THIS IS A TOTAL KNOCK OFF CABLE. THE PRINTING ON THE CABLE EVEN SAYS IT'S AN HDMI CABLE.It cannot output a resolution higher than 1920x1200. I've tested this cable along side a known working dual link DVI cable and it doesn't function the same. The seller should be ashamed and Amazon should revoke their selling privilege.

Working great for 2 weeks now, no signal problems. The screws a bit flippy-floppy, but most DVI cables have that same lame feature.

I tested the cable once on my LG monitor. Initial results were not good and I need to test it on another monitor to determine if it's the cable. When I connected the 6 foot DVI cable from my LG monitor to my computer, the monitor started flickering and then after a few seconds the screen would go blank and come back on again. This continued on and never stopped. It was frustrating. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to comment.
