Great item. Easy fit in pocket and great magnification. Multiple uses.

I like the weight of it, instead of the usual flimsy plastic thing with cheap lens. The magnification is great, and I use it all the time. It seems like it will last for a long time.

Sometimes it's worth considering clear acrylic sides to allow ambient lighting on three dimensional items. I wanted glass to make less likely scratched.

It came in a box that said made in China.Last I knew Bausch and Lomb was made in Germany.I think the price will reflect my opinion.But it works well for the price.

This is 10X at best with a lot of fringe aberration that reduces what is in focus to around 12 to 15 mm. One of the lenses (objective?) came with a chip on the edge and the inside surfaces of both lenses came with partial finger prints, and dust. The box came sealed so it looks like low skilled factory help are the culprits. (no way this is German!) For the price I wouldn't expect perfection, but the deliberate lie about the magnification irks me a lot, but not enough for me to send it back. chalk it up to a ten dollar life lesson. I have an old Japanese-made 10X pocket loupe than has much better optics, and will choose it over this pretty looking junk when I need to see tiny details.
