A Timeless Marker Pen!
Not sponsored or paid review~~ Beautiful! Worth every penny. I have been into drawing my whole life, and I will be 30 in Nov this year~ this box is amazing! I love the color variety and dual tips. All colors are bright & the marker pen itself is durable yet moves with you~ you don’t work around the product which is very important to an artist. There was no bleed or feathering. I did purchase high GSM cotton watercolor paper to pair though. The design of the box brings a pleasant energy to your atmosphere, you could consider it decor with the beauty of it! Most importantly the marker pens are highly functional, adaptable, and full of pigmentation. This product made my day! I didn’t know I needed this until it made it home 💝 Thank you! 😊

Bright and vivid
I love my new markers. Works well with my new coloring book. Both gifts to myself for Christmas. Markers blend well. Doesn’t bleed through as much as other markers. Colors are extremely vivid.

A Nice Set of Dual Tip Watercolor Markers to Play With!
This is my first set of watercolor brush pens, and I am a beginner when it comes to both coloring and water coloring, so keep that in mind when you read this review. I also bought a package of another brand of double-ended watercolor brush pens at the same time, so I will compare the 2 sets during this review. 100 dual tip markers for the price that these Primrosia markers are currently listed for seems like a very good deal to me, and are definitely a better value than the set of 36 watercolor markers I also purchased. Most of the Primrosia colors seem vibrant and vivid. While I was hoping for more lighter color pastels in this set, I guess I can achieve that look if I use them as watercolor markers and dilute the colors. It seems like there’s a good representation of all the major color families in the Primrosia set. One of my fine nib colors was totally dried out and unusable, but I guess that’s not bad in a set of 100 (or 200, if you count both sides of the pen.) I found that some of the brush tips had a softer and more malleable tip that is more brush-like, whereas others had a harder tip. The softer-tipped colors were easier to use when coloring larger areas, and I wish the brush nib tips were consistently soft. The pen caps snapped tightly back onto the stalks of the pens. I like the size of the fine nib pen for writing, outlining, filling in, and detail work. I also like the size of the brush nib for coloring wider areas and still being able to stay within the lines. I prefer the brush nibs to chisel nibs found on some of the other dual tip marker sets. However, as noted previously, I was disappointed that only some of the brush nibs have a nice brush-like flow. Generally speaking, I think the Primrosia pens are juicier than the other set I purchased. Each pen in this set is numbered but not named. (In the other set I bought, the colors are neither numbered nor named.) For me, naming as well as numbering each color would be a helpful feature, as it would make it easier for me to identify and retrieve the exact color I want. The numbers are printed in 2 orientations at both ends of the stalk of each pen (before the caps). Unfortunately, some of the numbers can be easily confused when read upside down. In fact, I had to restart my swatch chart coloring a few times because of that confusion. Also, the numbering system is SOMEWHAT organized by color family but not completely, which is annoying. (See photo of Color Chart.) There is definitely room for improvement in that area. The caps of the pens closely matched the actual color of the ink for some of the pens, but not others. On the positive side, after contacting the seller, she responded quickly and sent me PDFs for a “Primrosia 100 Dual Tip Marker Pens Color Chart” (see photo) along with the PDFs for their other smaller marker sets and the pages of a very nice adult coloring book. This was a very nice perk and the company deserves an A+ for customer service! Although the box that the 100-pen set came in is very attractive and nice quality, it is pretty much useless for storing the pens. First of all, it’s a tight fit, and they’re hard to remove and replace. Secondly, there is no way to organize the colors in the box as only the pen tips are visible, and the tips aren’t numbered. Since some of the colors don’t bear a close resemblance to their respective pen cap colors, there would be too much trial and error involved in pulling out pens from the box while working on a project. Alternatively, I bought myself a large pencil/marker case that holds both the Primrosia and my other set of watercolor markers (see photos). I inserted the markers into my holder in numerical order and now I can see 32 colors at a glance. I highly recommend that if you purchase these marker pens, you also spend the extra money to buy a separate marker case. In summary, I think this set of 100 Primrosia dual tip watercolor markers has a lot of things going for it and is worthy of a 4-star rating. I deducted a star mainly because of the inconsistent quality of the brush nibs of the pens, which was somewhat disappointing. I think these pens are a better value and are better quality markers than the other set of 36 markers that I also purchased. I have no other watercolor markers to compare my Primrosia markers to, but I am happy with my purchase and would recommend them to anyone looking to buy their first set of watercolor markers.

Don’ bleed through
I absolutely love these marker pens!😍 They don’t bleed trough at all! Most of the colors are very bright, I hoped more colors would be softer and darker, but I was aware of this possibility. So just be aware of that if you’re looking for something that’s not mostly bright. The quality is great!

Vibrant markers and a cute box to store them in!
I had been going back and forth on whether to get these or not. I've been looking for a good set of watercolor markers, I was doing a lot of comparison of these with others, and eventually got these (the cute box helped talk me into it) and I'm so glad I did! The colors are absolutely beautiful and they're so vibrant, my picture really doesn't do them justice at all. They feel great to color with and look beautiful left as is, but adding water for that watercolor look works so well too (when you don't overdo it with the water.) I also love the fact that there are fine liner tips on the opposite end, they're just as vibrant and write/draw so well. Great for finer details! I also absolutely love using these for my coloring books. And the box looks beautiful on the shelf when not in use, just as I had been hoping! I can't wait to use these for full pieces.

Update on review
These dual tip brushes come in a charming box. However, that’s where the charm ends. The fine tip is, yes, very fine & perfect for coloring tiny places. But the big downside is that the tip, or ink, (who knows) ends up making “pills” in the paper, even with.a light touch. Eventually it even leaves a hole in the paper. The brush tip is streaky & IMO of inferior quality.. It also “pills” up on the paper, as well as the nib wears out quickly to a frazzle. A few extra new nibs are included but they should not need replacing so soon. After using this set about 4 or 5 times, I’m disappointed with them, would never recommend them to anyone, & there are far too many nearly identical colors. The price was enticing as well as the adorable box, but those are the only good things about this set. You get what you pay for, so spend a little more & get a higher quality dual brush/fine tip marker set. FWIW—they do bleed through, as most of these sets do.

This is the first 100 box I've bought, but I've been using the Primrosia Skin Tone watercolour pens for a few years now. I use them every day. They are excellent as markers for journalling, and also for watercolour painting. Highly recommend.

Compré estos marcadores principalmente por los colores, que son realmente muy bonitos y vibrantes. Sin embargo, me decepcionó la calidad de la punta de pincel: desde el primer uso se deformó y no volvió a tener buena precisión. Parecen frágiles y no duraderas. Por otro lado, la punta fina me gustó mucho más. Es cómoda de usar, traza bien y se siente de mejor calidad. En resumen, los colores y la punta fina son lo mejor del producto, pero la punta de pincel deja mucho que desear.

I love these markers!! Truly the colours are super vivid, good quality and easy to use. The brush tip is mostly firm so you have to use different angles to create the thick/thin lettering. You can use them for a watercolour effect... I have not experimented with this much yet. They work well for my amateur art.

I have had these pens for a while now and I must admit that I was skeptical of the description and if they would really work. As I used them frequently, I became to really love them, They don't bleed through the pages, the colours are bright and gorgeous. They have a nice glide to them on the paper and the tips are perfect for the biggest areas to the smallest. I would definitely buy them again when I need new pens or to replace the worn out ones.
