Navaris Wood Record Crate - Vinyl Album Storage Holder Box Wooden Case with Chalkboard Sign Board - Holds up to 80 LP Records - Natural

Got this to hold my recently played and/or acquired records before they go into a larger shelving unit. Easy to put together, inexpensive and sturdy. This replaced a plastic milk crate that was damaging some of my records when fully loaded.

I have thus far bought four of these crates. They are just heavy enough to hold records without being too heavy duty like the old “peaches crates”. The peaches crates are tough to beat but very high now and they are heavy to lift with a full crate of vinyl…nearly $80 a piece on eBay. These go together quick and look fine around my HiFi equipment.

I was pleasantly surprised. It’s good quality of wood. The Clark board is a nice look to it. My only slight problem is the holes for the screws didn’t line flush. I used a drill on a low torque to put it together. Other than that it’s great

This is a great little record crate. It could be better if the 1/4" thick plywood bottom was 3/8" or even 1/2" thick instead. Assembly of the ends and sides was easy, and fit was decent (you can force the pieces to be flush), but the bottom floor piece came badly warped and was even separating. I'm currently using it but worry it might be putting too much pressure on my records instead of distributing the loads evenly. I don't want my records to warp, which is the reason I bought this crate in the first place. I'll likely have to go to Lowe's Hardware and get a piece of plywood or a board that isn't warped to replace it for peace of mind. Pity, because otherwise this would be a great deal.

Quick shipping, well packaged but seems a little flimsy. Only time will tell as it gets moved around a room with albums in it.

I like this album crate as it is easy to construct, it's sturdy and compact and doesn't get too heavy once filled. I like being able to label the crate with chalk to mark what is in it, either music genre or alphabetical.
